One of the best spots in Phoenix for delicious pizza, craft beer, and a panoramic view of the Phoenix Mountains. It's also organic, locally sourced, and vegan friendly! They can use daiya cheese as a replacement on any pizza, providing many options. I had 'The Veggie' with vegan cheese, it was sooo good. Broccolini and roasted garlic cloves were the perfect finishing touch. Sit on the patio during golden hour for the best mountain views.
We Have been wanting to try this place out for a while. We ordered a Caesar salad and a couple of pies. The pizza was good and the salad was good. The service was good as well. Had to make reservations to get in. The place is smaller inside but does have seating outside with misters. We sat inside and it was clean and neat.

I had a friend visiting and while driving around Camelback Mountain, we decided to try this nice cozy place tucked next to the mountain.
We ordered the Kale and Beet Salad which was AMAZING. The goat cheese (Chèvre) was the creamiest and best tasting ever! Everything about the salad was a pleasure. The beets were sweet, with just the right amount of bite. The dressing was light and flavorful. As an old friend of mine used to joke, "It's so good, I want to lick the plate!".
Next we had the Smelly Date pizza. Who would have ever thought of putting dates on a pizza? Well, they did and it's incredible! The dough is topped with crispy prosciutto and gorgonzola. THEN they put flavorful arugula and balsamic dressing drizzled on top.
I still think about that pizza and can't wait to go back to try another.

Solid pizza. Ingredients are excellent quality, but our pizza was a little soggy in the middle. Crust was nice and thin and crispy away from the middle however. Note that the cheese is all fresh mozzarella and so coverage is minimal. Don't go in expecting a super cheesy pizza.

Delicious pizzeria! First time here on Tuesday with friends and kids all under ages of 4. They were super accommodating, provided lidded water cups for the kids, attentive and suggested a simple but quality ingredients for the kids' pizza. We adults got their Noble bread to start, highly recommend! Then had their Pesto Chicken pizza and a salad, which was all delicious. Definitely will be back again!

Had two salads two pizzas and two desserts with sister and brother-in-law. Everything was superb, drinks were delicious and a meal that normally would think woulda had me feeling heavy the next day actually sat great. Sign of quality ingredients and thoughtful cooking environment. Highly recommend

This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Consistent high quality food and service. Outdoor and indoor seating. Spectacular day and night views of the Phoenix mountains.
Great place for lunch or dinner. Pizza is great; I have several favorites. The crispy prosciutto and arugula salad is unique and recommended.
I always start with a gin martini. At this place you can’t go wrong.

My husband has been wanting to try Base for a while. He raved about the food based on the reviews. So of course, I expected this place to blow my socks off!
We made a reservation for 7pm and we were promptly seated.
Sadly, we were not pleased with the food. Any of it. They don't offer a kid's menu, which makes it so difficult when you have to please a little one. THE FOOD: We ordered a Base Caesar Salad with Chicken, BBQ Pizza, and a Roni Pizza. The Base Caesar Salad- we added chicken. This salad was SO plain. Not tasty at all, we asked for extra dressing twice and realized that the dressing wasn't helping at all. Just not tasty or any good flavoring at all.
The Roni Pizza was VERY saucy and not enough cheese, no kid wants to eat sauce only, and we didn't either. We asked if they could add more cheese and were told no, due to sanitation. The waitress offered to make another one, but it would be the same size, they had nothing smaller. We passed. BBQ Pizza, this pizza wasn't too bad. We liked the brisket or beef on the pizza but felt like it was missing something, just not sure what it was.
THE DRINKS: I ordered a Modelo beer, in a cold glass, it seems that the bottles were warm, and the glass wasn't cold. I returned it. I then ordered a margarita, not good either. I could taste tap water in my margarita. I didn't complain and I did my best to finish it. Maybe it was the ice that was used. Not sure where the tap flavor came from.
In the end, the waitress did comp the Roni Pizza and the salad. Although we didn't complain about the salad. But it was nice of her. We did tip her according to the full bill.
We most likely won't be driving out to Base for a second chance, it's quite a drive from our house.

Great pizza joint. Came here with my friend and thankfully they had room for us on the patio. I don't recall what pizza I ordered but is was delicious. Great servers and delicious eats.
