THANK YOU Blanco Bilmore! On Monday, August 1 I went to Blanco Scottsdale and had a total opposite experience (see the review I left on Google). I was so shocked and utterly disappointed but I know to always extend grace and forgive. It was this reason I dined at your location today. I rate my service as a 5-star experience because it was everything I expected from Blanco Scottsdale but didn’t experience. The power of forgiveness is redeeming. Thank you.

The Scottsdale location has a comfortable patio with misters to kept it cool for us and the pooch. The entire staff was super friendly, and very attentive. Oh and the short rib machaca cimichanga, is amazing! I will definitely be back!

The food is always great and I always leave feeling good. I'm gluten intolerant and their menu and staff are very accommodating. I would give 5 stars if their salsa was consistent. Some days it spicy and the best I've had anywhere and other times I visit it tastes like tomato paste with some seasonings. Other than that, it's excellent!

I'll start by saying the service was terrible, and if it wasn't for the manager, Tim, this would have been a one-star rating. I work in the service industry so I get that sometimes servers get busy and forget things. But in this particular case, it was simply about a bad server. A few examples: she didn't bring our water until after she took the order of at least one, possibly two, other tables. She didn't bring one of the drinks ordered until after asking for the third time- and it was the wrong drink. Seriously, not even in the same realm of cocktails. And worst of all, she didn't check on us the many times she walked past us. We had to stop her if we wanted something. She just wasn't at all friendly. Tim made up for her mistakes but it was still a bad experience. The food wasn't bad, but it didn't make any of us forget the service.

Food was good, service was very friendly but quite slow. We ate on a Monday night, walked into a half empty restaurant and was told it was a half hour wait for a table for four... quite unusual considering the appropriate amount of cooks in the open kitchen. I get load demand seating and spacing things out, but this shouldn't mean a long wait to get our food. The drinks and the chips kept coming which made the wait seem less

We ordered for pick up but it seems like a nice place to sit down. We ended up getting our food quite a bit past the time we were quoted, so we did have to wait for some time. The cheese crisp was not bad, but it’s difficult to mess up melting cheese on a tortilla. The queso was also good, but doesn’t have any distinct flavor or kick. The chimichangas were quite tasty, flavorful, and filling. The sides of pico de gallo, guacamole, beans, and rice were quite good as well (the rice was perfectly cooked). We found this place because we searched for prickly pear margaritas, and the restaurant was the first one listed. Not sure why that was suggested, since the restaurant didn’t have any such margarita. Although that was a bit of a letdown, the food was good.

Tasty Mexican dishes with a modern twist! Trendy, upbeat atmosphere with patio seating and friendly service. Highly recommend their “Famous Guacamole” and their award winning Slow Cooked BBQ Pork Tacos. We also really enjoyed their Braised Chicken Burrito, charro beans, and buttery rice!!
