All I can say is wow!! Arizona doesn’t really have that many places to represent the Maryland Seafood vibe. This place is by far one of the best seafood places in the valley. Quality seafood, blue crab soft shell when in season. THE BEST fried shrimp and crab cakes I’ve ever tasted. Lightly breaded, not super greasy. Potato chips with a light dusting of ol’ bay, hush puppies made with love. Not to mention the atmosphere of the restaurant. It has this mom and pop shop vibe. Something that was so refreshing after the last couple years we’ve had. This is a family owned business- Husband, wife, and sister. The husband is originally from Maryland, so the food is definitely authentic. The ladies up front are so sweet and kind and take the time to explain and questions you may have. Plus that jazz music in the background was chefs kiss! Will totally be back and bringing all my friends and family.
We decided to celebrate our 26th anniversary at Chesapeake Bay even though a 83 mike round trip!
Yolanda greeted us warmly. The shipments of live crabs had not begun this year, but we had shoft-shelled crabs that were the best and easiest I have ever had.
We also had hush puppies, and FINE crab cakes, hone made potato chips (incredible)
And NY Strawberry Cheese cake.
James and Yolanda are a lovely couple and we feel we made new friends.
We can hardly wait until the Blue Crabs arrive as we will be back.

Incredible! Do not overlook this place! The grilled shrimp was good, the crab cakes and tartar sauce was the best I’ve ever had. The tilapia sandwich and homemade ‘ol bay chips were also delicious!

Great place. It's hard to get quality seafood in Phoenix with spending $45k. Thankfully Chesapeake Bay is here. Got the soft shell crab and shark because shark. When do you eat shark. I did. Have you? Probably not. Step your fish game up. Both were amazing. Crab nice and crispy but crabby and delicious. The shark not too fishy. Felt like eating Shark Tale characters. The homemade spicy tartar sauce was magnifico. Yolanda and everyone were so helpful and my daughter got a sandal she loves. Yes you may get a sandal with your awesome food. That's what I like with my meal. Good people and excitement. Sandals popping out like bloaow. Try them out I drove from north Phoenix to eat. Spicy tartar sauce don't forget! Blue crabs are a coming...

Really fresh fish cooked to perfection! We had, fried catfish, fried tilapia, blackened shark, and blackened salmon plates with the sides. Portions and spiced just right. The owners were super nice and welcoming.

Fantastic local business!!! Incredibly kind and welcoming owners, who take the time to thoroughly explain the menu and ordering process. Honestly the nicest and most genuine service I’ve had at any restaurant anywhere. Restaurant is bit on the smaller side, but there’s still plenty of seating and the decor is all nautically themed. Despite all this, the food is still the main draw. We originally were going to order the seafood soup, made fresh daily, but unfortunately there had been none prepared that day. Instead, we each got a plate, one with two crab cakes and one with fried walleye. We each got sides of freshly fried chips and hush puppies cooked to order. The crab cakes were full of meat and delicious, even with the blue crab they’re famous for being out of season. The walleye, the first of which I’ve found served in Ahwatukee, was lightly fried and perfectly cooked which let the delicious flavor of the fish shine through. Easily some of the best food I’ve had not just locally, but anywhere in Phoenix. I even came back the following day to try the seafood soup which was just as good and completely full of shellfish. I cannot recommend this place enough and I wish only the best for them in the future.

We've found our new go-to East Coast seafood place in Phoenix. Got the grilled mahi-mahi plate with lemon pepper seasoning and the soft-shell crab sandwich. Ordered both with freshly-fried chips dusted with Old Bay seasoning. Every item was freshly cooked to order. The chips were spectacular, the fish was perfectly grilled, and the crab was tasty. Definitely coming back. Yolanda and Zandra were very friendly and did their best to make us feel welcome. The chef did indeed come from Maryland, so extra points for authenticity.

This new seafood restaurant in Ahwatukee is phenomenal! You are first greeted by the friendliest staff/owners! They help you navigate the menu when it's your first time and they give experts suggestions! Most seafood restaurants are fine dining but this is a very relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes you just want to chill in a laid back place and you can do that here. They even have connect 4 at the tables that you can play while you wait. The catfish was thick and juicy, the soft shell crab was the best I've found in the area and the grilled shrimp stole the show for me! You can't get seafood like this for the price anywhere else!
