The level of customer service is astounding! Very family friendly. Food is amazing. Chips and salsa are so good, we mixed the chunky with the hot salsa. Dont eat too many chips, you'll want room for the portions you're about to get. My husband recommends the carnitas tacos and I second that! I got the chicken enchiladas and they were delicious. Best part of our visit, customer service and tacos.

This place used to be our favorite for Mexican food but it has changed a lot and we will most likely NOT eat here again since it is a long drive for us! I have to say that the quality of the food is still very good. It has become a fast food diner--you order, pay, give you a number and they bring your food to you. You take care of getting your cutlery and drinks, etc.--I liked it better when we were served. A Mexican food place should have Mexican music (or none) but they had American, and I have complained about this in the past. We ordered to dine in and also to take out. When we finished eating we went to pick up our take out food and they had messed it up--we had to wait an extra 15 minutes to get our order.
BTW, I enjoy all music but they used to have Mexican music in the past.

This is the first time being back after 5 years ( moved out of state)The food is amazing! I love the green chili burrito. It’s not too spicy. The staff is awesome. But I’m not really liking the new way of ordering. They took out the hostess stand. Now you have to wait in line to order and they give you a number then you go find a table. I prefer them seating you.

I really could give it a better rating. The food is , as it has been since I first enjoyed it in 1980. Absolutely perfect.
But post Covid and lack of personnel have taken away the waiters. The Mariachi band and perfect Sonora flavors, would make me come back even if they had just a food cart.

I'm an Arizona native. I've heard so many good things about the food here. They were all correct. However, what really impressed me was the staff. Everyone was hustling to keep the orders going. They communicate with one another in such a productive and courteous manner. They were so hospitable to all the customers. Made me feel like I was at my Tias house with the cousins. Thank you for your hospitality La Canasta Family????♥️

The cashier was so nice, he saw how indecisive my wife and I were and ran to the kitchen for samples before we could even ask for it. The red sauce tasted very mellow with hints of smoked red peppers. The beef came out very tender, it fell apart in my mouth. The star of the meal though was my wife's cheese enchiladas with red sauce on top, so good. No pictures because we inhaled it so fast! The decor was beautiful, I also loved their floor tiles

Not certain exactly how other people's experience has been, but the cashier was outside talking to his friend with a line of 7 people waiting. No greetings. Take out orders weren't called so delivery drivers and other customers were standing around looking at each other. Not the best experience. I hope this was just a bad day for the staff.

Went for lunch, very busy but got my food in under 10 minutes! Only ordered Pollo (chicken) tostadas bc of time but the menu is long and they ha e plenty of good stuff to try another time!I told you, Mexican do not disappoint! Wish there was more chicken on it though but tostados so small I understand!

Thus place is soo yummy! Big portions! I got nanas special with red pork. It was delicious!! Plates were about $14 - $15 it was really good. Maybe a little night prices but like I said big portions.
