We went there with our kiddos and sat outside.
This place is huge and great for larger groups. Currently, in September it may be a little bit warm to sit outside, but it would be great during summer and winter time.
Our waitress Jessica was very professional and familiar with each dish. I was curious and asked many questions, Jessica was very patient and provided us with candid recommendations and details.
Finally, we ordered Wood fire beef ribs, Sea of Cortez Halibut, Eggplant "meatballs" and Tempura Squash Blossom, plus desserts.
The beef ribs (with french fries) were mouthwatering and so tender --- our kiddos were fighting for them!
The Halibut was ok, which was a little bit too salty for us.
The eggplant meatball was crunchy outside and savory inside --- excellent combination with mashed potatoes.
The Tempura Blossom was a deep-fried veggies combination, with a little bit of sour flavor. My husband gave it a 6 (out of 10) and I gave it an 8.
Finally, we ordered 2 different desserts-- Strawberry shortcake was so-so, while the Flourless chocolate cake was awesome. Super rich flavor with homemade ice cream on the side, flourless chocolate cake is highly recommended!
Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The place has an absolutely beautiful ambience and is a huge space as well. There is an option for outdoor seating as well as an indoor seating. The outside seating provides you with a better experience with nice huge picnic tables seating whereas the indoor is more formal.
Food ⭐️⭐️
However, we weren’t impressed with the food. We ordered few different things which were good but lacked the WOW factor.
1. Pork chops we ordered were raw and under cooked, we had to send it back.
2. The beef ribs were tasty and the portion size of the dish is massive.
3. The vegetarian options were nice as well.
4. The pastas were a highlight and the best among the lot.
5. Good alcohol options
6. The desserts were good but again did lack that wow factor.

excellent spot for a date night! If it’s cooler, I suggest sitting outdoors, it’s beautiful! The indoor seating is pretty crowded so all conversation can be heard by neighboring tables.
We got the chicken and ribs. Both were cooked excellent and tasted great. The fires that came with the ribs were good. The ginger mint lemonade was good.
Only knock I have is that a lot of the food wasn’t necessarily my “cup of tea”. Our waitress also was less attentive when another party came in and started ordering many more items than us.

Love Ocotillo as I can never get enough. They revamped their drink menu as they still have some of my favorite options. I enjoy the sidecar area the most. An absolute must at night in the valley. A perfect spot for any occasion.

This was such a wonderful brunch spot off of 3rd. It was recommended to me by a friend, and it exceeded the expectations. Great food and tasty too! The atmosphere was gorgeous and had a funky/fun vibe.

Great vibe indoors and outdoors, this is a great spot for a date night. We had the prosciutto salad, the chicken, and the beef ribs. I thought everything was delicious and the server was pretty quick. Only knock I have is the portions seem really off. The prosciutto salad barely has any vegetables; not that I am upset because I love prosciutto. The beef ribs can feed 2-3 people, way bigger than I expected. The chicken was the only reasonably portioned dish. All the flavors were excellent and the meats were cooked masterfully. I will need to reference pictures next time to ensure we don't over order again.

Great spot with really nice outdoorsy vibes for brunch, either indoors or outdoors. Get the beef ribs if that's up your alley, but their lighter dishes like the parfait are also delicious.

Love, love, love! Great place to celebrate a special occasion or have a romantic dinner date. We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary. If you're hungry I recommend the ribs , also the steak with bone marrow was really good. The halibut was just ok. Didn't think it justified the $35 dollars. Overall, I would definitely return.

Brunch crew found this place. I had the honey fried chicken, skillet pancake with scallions we shared a "pitcher" mimosa. The menu is unique and food was tasty. Its kinda pricey for what you get but still good nonetheless. The atmosphere is nice and they offer outside seating. My waitress was awesome too.. Its different, give them a try.

We went for a friends birthday and we ordered so many things to share like tapas but we saved room for the end… the ribs were too enticing to pass up!
The food presentation was stunning, the flavors were unique and savory, the pate was very strange and I always get that so was disappointed it was bland and not really what I was hoping for.
The ribs were pretty tasty but more bone and cartilage than meat. The stand out dish was the burrata and vanilla soaked pears. Delicious!
The property itself is lovely, I want to go back and explore the various spaces in the courtyard, I loved feeling like I was transported into a private estate.
Dinner section inside was cold because of the open walls so I had to wear a jacket while I ate. Come prepared in the cooler months.
Oh lastly the cocktails were very pretty and I heard delicious too. I ordered wine. Generally around $12-15, well priced for the quality of the drinks!
HIGHS: expansive beautiful property + unique starters, cocktails were reported to be great
LOWS: some starters were more interesting than satisfying.
