I’ve been wanting to try Tarbells for a while and my recent birthday was a perfect excuse. We made a reservation via Resy and dined outside on their covered patio.
Their wine list has a nice range of options. Gluten free and vegetarian entrees are available. We both enjoyed our meals and they were able to safely accommodate my husband who has celiac disease.
I had the beet salad and vegetarian risotto, both were delicious. The risotto was a little rich and filling I had enough to take home for lunch the next day (was still good leftover) but still nice as a dinner on a summer evening.
It would be nice if the restaurant added a fly strip/trap to their awning because the fly situation was a little out of control depending on what table you were seated at. We actually had to switch tables the flys were so relentless.
As with most restaurants in Arcadia, parking is very limited but we were lucky enough to find a self-park spot. Score! Valet is available too.
Love Tarbell's. Part of it was feeling divinely led here to celebrate 2 years ago. Recently I was traveling on my birthday. I was going to stay in the hotel because of a leftover dessert, and take it easy. God wanted to bless me. Their seafood is incredible, everything is incredible. After finding out it was my birthday, they surprised me with this choc. mousse dessert. One of my favorite restaurants in the U.S. Go spend it, you're worth it.

This restaurant probably doesn't need a positive review given its following and history but there are a few things I want to highlight. First, dining at Tarbell's is a luxury experience. The menu is filled with a variety of entrees and other dishes that cover a wide range of tastes. The service is impeccable with people teaming to ensure your every need is met. One of the most unique features is their willingness to split entrees if you are torn between two dishes. In my case, I had the chicken and seared halibut which you can see in the photo I posted. It's a wonderful way to extend your experience without adding cost. If you drink alcoholic beverages then be prepared to see your bill rise considerably. Mixed drinks and wine come at a premium price. That is pretty typical for fine dining. The one dish I cannot recommend is the corn ribs appetizer. Ours lacked flavor and substance although it was interesting to look at. Really more of a novelty dish. I look forward to my next visit there and always appreciate how delicious the food is and the masterful preparation of chicken, pasta, seafood and steaks. It a gem that I hope will be with us for many years to come.

If you haven’t been to Tarbell’s, be intentional, go this week! If you’ve been, you know what I mean! Perfect for romance, friends time or business. They’ve mastered the classy casual vibe, really mastered! Amazing food with presentations so lovely you are reluctant to disturb the view by eating it, but do! Because the taste is amazing. The service top notch. Thanks Javier! Looking out at their patio sent me back to somewhere, I don’t know, maybe Brazil or Europe. The larger than usual high top tables in the bar area are perfect for eating and conversation.

Very good upscale restaurant with unique offerings and extensive wine menu. The staff were very courteous. Our server had a nice personality without being over the top. All our food was delicious and the cheesecake is something special ( topped with rosemary salted caramel). The tables are a little close together for my liking in this type environment. Overall very pleased.

Pleasant experience. We sat outside in the evening with an automated heater going which provided just the right amount of heat. I ordered salmon and it was cooked just perfectly (melt-in-your-mouth kind). Also ordered the 2 chicken dish. The chicken was a bit too salty for my liking but othwrwise cooked very well. My husband enjoyed that dish just fine. We ordered cheesecake for dessert. That is a must have! It was covered with caramel coating and shaped like flan would be. It was so delicately made I thought it may as well be flan with a a cheesecake twist. Delicious! Servers were very nice and even made us a great mocktail as we don't drink. They were prompt about removing empty plates and replacing utensils. This place takes reservations and it wasn't as crowded I think because of that. They maintained safety precautions.

Tarbell's is truly a fine dining experience with stellar service and impeccable food. We were there for an anniversary, and arrived to find our reserved table strewn with rose petals. The lights were low and moody, the background music pleasant.
The food was perfection. For our start we ordered the house-made burrata, which at this time included a mixed berry and chia seed jam with a bold balsamic reduction. The cheese was firm on the outside and beautifully gushy in the middle. We also received a rock shrimp tempura that had a delicate crispiness from rice flour; honestly, one of the best shrimp dishes I've had in my life.
For a start drink, I ordered the Elixir 6, which was a unique, complex cocktail that included beautiful adornments. My husband had a local beer that he greatly enjoyed. I asked our server for a recommendation for a white wine to go with the salmon and he pointed me toward Cliff Lede, a Sauvignon Blanc, which turned out to be an excellent choice.
The current Scottish salmon offering is served on mustard mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The fish was perfectly cooked and flaky. My husband truly indulged and went with a current special, the Moon River Ribeye, which came with root vegetables, crisped fingerling potatoes, and three sauces to accompany the meat. This was among the best steaks he's ever had in a restaurant.
We were delighted when our server brought out a caramel custard and a cup of chocolate mousse for our anniversary. They weren't things I ever would have ordered off a menu, but they were stunningly delicious. We were both wowed. They made for a perfect end for the meal.
I would come again to Tarbell's for a special occasion. It was fantastic in every way.

This restaurant has it all from reservation to dessert down to perfection. Service, food and ambiance is first rate. The little touches that restaurants just don't do anymore, Tarbell's has done a great job preserving what fine dining meant. To those of us that grew up in the industry and spent many years behind the white tablecloth tables i say great job and thank you.
