TeePee is a great place that has been around for awhile now. Reliable, authentic, delicious are all words I would use to describe this spot. As you can tell by photo we were eager to dive into our nachos and cheese crisp. Often times my wife and I split the chimichanga, I highly recommend the chimi.
I grew up in New Mexico and NM style Mexican food is definitely my favorite. I discovered Los Dos early on living in Phoenix. They are great, but I'm really happy to have found Tee Pee. They are a little less fancy than Los Dos (but in a very good way), and their food, decor, and vibe remind me of my favorite childhood NM restaurant experiences. The salsa is a heat builder, but not overwhelmingly hot like Los Dos can be. Everything I've tried on the menu has been good and well spiced/flavored. Their margaritas are very inexpensive (like the rest of their menu) but pack a punch. Wish I'd tried this place a few years earlier, happy to have another great spot to get that distinctly NM style Mexican food.

The Tee Pee is a fun, iconic Mexican restaurant in Phoenix, AZ. The décor has barely been changed since its opening. As you enter the restaurant through a narrow hallway you'll see photos of the many celebrities who have dined there. And in the dining area is the George W. Bush booth which the president would occupy whenever he visited Phoenix. Before John McCain passed I personally saw him dine there. The bar is beyond funky. You'll see millionaire landowners drinking shots with construction workers. Everyone is friendly in this joint, especially the staff. I ate lunch there yesterday and my service was impeccable. And as you begin your meal, you'll munch on the best chips and salsa in the Valley. The salsa has just the right kick to it and the chips are thin and fresh. My favorites on the menu are the cheese enchiladas and corn tamales. The food is consistent and flavorful. The rice has a bit of spiciness to it so it's not just on your place for decoration. The prices are reasonable and the margaritas are terrific. If you want a taste of old Phoenix, visit the Tee Pee.

The food is very good, but a bit spicy for my taste. The Margaritas are very good. I had a burrito and my wife had a chimichanga. Very good, but (as I mentioned) the filling was a bit spicy in both of our dishes even though we specified mild. Next time we are in Phoenix, we may try them again.

Look… I grew up in this restaurant. Literally. My grandad was friends with the founders and worked here on the weekends, we went to Payson for the old golf tournament. My mom was a server here for over a decade. The people here cared for all of us kids like we were there own, because we were. The food? Second to none. In a world of constant chasing the new and flashy, Tee Pee is something you can count on to be the same for decades and I mean that in the best way.

Generations of a good family owned small business. Keeping the recipes the same while keeping up with the local culture is what keeps this place busy. ????Taco 'bout delicious food, and the service at the bar is just as friendly as the service in the dinning room. Reasonably Priced Tee Pee is worth the trip! ????
(even if you don't happen to live in the neighborhood )

First time here, I had the Chile Rellano & Enchiladas Muchacho.
Both were fantastic, Excellent beans & Rice. The fresh salsa was also tasty, just enough heat!

Delicious! Come if you want some awesome Mexican food. The ground beef tacos are SO good! Don’t even think about it, just get your order in. The outdoor patio was great. Plenty of seating and they had the heaters going to keep everyone comfortable. We had great service and excellent food!

First time here, delightfully surprised. The food was ok, the server made the experience worth it.
He was very attentive, made great recommendations, and was on point for the entire service.
The food was ok, nothing that stood out except the salsa was delicious and not your typical salsa you get in the valley of the sun ☀️

Driving around with a friend lookin' for a bite for dinner. Found this place, parking lot full, must be good. Glad we went here, the food is very good. I had this lunch platter consisting of a taco, tostada, and a enchilada with rice and beans. Very good here! I'll be back! Thank you staff for your friendly service.
