First time here. We knew before hand it would be pricey. They did not disappoint. We enjoyed the elk, prime rib, with potato, mushrooms, creamed spinach and shrimp cocktail. The service was impeccable. Thank you to everyone!!! We highly recommend, especially for special occasions.
Great steaks served in a saloonlike western setting. Professional and friendly staff will make your dining experience a memorable one.

Just discovered this place last night. My wife and I went for a few drinks and some food before a show. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. Old Fashioneds are good and that salmon was amazing! They bring bread with a honey butter that was so good! We definitely are coming back to try more.

First place I got to eat when I landed in Phoenix and it was delicious. Couldn't ask for a better waiter. I will definitely be back.
I wanted to get some pictures of my food but as usual I was too late... tells you how good it was.

Sat at the bar and Kayla was the best, sweetest and the most delightful bartender. I didn't want for anything the whole time I spent there. Absolutely my favorite steakhouse in Phoenix! If you haven't been, make it a destination! The staff is the greatest and the food is incredible. My hat's off to the kitchen staff they kill it every time I'm there. Thank you Stockyards crew!!!

We really enjoyed ourselves! It was country quaint. We ate pretty much everything. I had filet mignon, side of sea scallops, baked potato with sour cream and some sort of strawberry martini. I don't recall our server's name but he was knowledgeable, not too much, not too little. The bathrooms were also very clean. We will be back. One star off because my food wasn't hot but was really good anyway. My husband and daughter enjoyed our visit and we will be back.

Came here with my husband and a couple of our friends. It was a decent dinner. I had the 8oz Filet Mignon. It came with either a soup or salad and choice of side. The chili was fantastic, chowder was okay just a standard chowder, steak stew was really good. As the side, we enjoyed the parmesan scalloped potatoes but they were more like a mash then anything.
For the steak it was okay, I ordered medium rare and I'd say it was a bit closer to medium. My friend ordered rare but got medium rare. Our other friend ordered medium rare but got rare. So the temps of steak were a bit off. We all still enjoyed the steak as it came.
My husband had the Fried Jumbo shrimp platter and mentioned his veggies weren't cooked all the way so he mainly stuck with the shrimp.
For waitress, she was nice but came off a bit scripted and felt like a very robotic conversation, not very personalable.
Overall, we enjoyed our meals BUT for the price it just wasn't worth it. It's not a place that we will tell others they have to go and probably will seek out a different place to try next time.

Excellent food and service. We were greeted warmly at the front door and seated promptly. The bread basket was brought even before we had selected our entrees. Had an excellent Buffalo ribeye perfectly cooked. They seemed busy for early on a weeknight but not crowded. Well worth the visit

The experience was great, loved the atmosphere and nostalgia of the bar area. Very interesting history and good service. The bread basket was delicious (cornbread!) and the seafood chowder was excellent.
We ordered the two person shareable beef tenderloin and it was probably the worst cut I have ever had…… I was extremely disappointed with how much we paid for it. I would definitely go back for the seafood chowder and a drink at the bar though.
We probably should’ve said something but my dad is too nice. Felt like a waste of $280 :/

Kayla the bartender in the Saloon took great care of me. Great place for the protein. The seafood chowder was delicious and the Steak was cooked absolutely perfect. Wine list was not the best but it was a volume selection. Has that typical rustic steakhouse look and feel and the Saloon was right in line with the atmosphere I was looking for. It is not cheap but it was worth it if you want to make sure you are getting the best of what you are looking for.
