Took my daughter, we are on vacation and I wanted her to experience Beverly Hills. The ladies at Louis Vuitton reccomended this for lunch. Absolutely wonderful service, and great food. Just a couple of small town girls out for lunch. They made us feel right at home.
It is a very good option if you like steak and and you would like to eat a late lunch or early dinner as they are open all afternoon.
The appetizers were too big for my appetite but I think this is expected looking at all the other restaurants.
The Mac & Cheese is not impressive, we liked the onion rinks and Salad.
The stakes were nice but we didn’t get to chose any sauces, I’m not sure if they have them as I didn’t pay attention to the menu and the waiter didn’t remind us about sauces.
Again, if you are tight with time, that’s a great option.

Great place to enjoy good quality meat! Opens at 4:30 which I may say is convenient for people who come from different regions, cities, countries! Nice and classic atmosphere! If you like Chile, they do have jalapeños for you to enjoy!! ????????

Excellent food and service. The last time I ate here I came face to face with Anthony Hopkins who had just walked in. I resisted the urge to ask him if he was going to have the liver with some favas beans and a nice Chianti. I just nodded to him pleasantly and he nodded back with a smile.

I wish I could give them 6 stars. We went there for dinner and ended up with a very memorable experience. The team working there are as friendly and hospitable as you could possibly hope for. The restaurant has a classy decor and a warm, enjoyable atmosphere. We couldn't fault any of the food in the slightest. Everything was cooked to perfection. The flavours and textures were a massive credit to the elite chefs they obviously have there. These people clearly take immense pride in their craft and as a result, the finished product is as good as anywhere else you could go for a perfect steak. Another visit to The Grill on the Alley will be a very deliberate addition to our itinerary next time we are in town. If you haven't been to this restaurant go out of your way to get there. Feel free to thank me for the recommendation afterwards. You'll definitely want to.

Amazing time travel experience in this little hidden corner of old Hollywood. I literally was expecting to see some movie stars from the 50's having dinner at the table across the room.
Excellent steak and seafood! Knowledgeable friendly servers .The wood burning grill gives a unique flavor to the steak.
You can never go wrong with the Dover sole and to end your dinner on a happy note , the brownie pie "a la mode " is divine.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary, ended dinner on a elated note. Everyone was super friendly here, even the other neighboring parties surrounding our table. We even witnessed a proposal. ????
The staff here is stellar. Super courteous, extremely helpful explaining, a different level of service.
The vibe is classy old school and the environment is warm. The price meets the quality standard without compromise.
The food and drinks are exactly how we expected. The coffee gelato dessert was extremely delicious.
You can park anywhere in the public structures around Rodeo Drive.

This place is unbelievably good. My Gram lives in BH and this was my grandparents go to place for taking family and friends out for dinner. They know them. My grandfather passed and his waiter was at his funeral. He has since retired but there are still amazing waiters that really take good care of you. So the service is amazing.
The drinks are also yummy. I ordered a lemon drop (or 2 ???? ???? ????) which was sooo good and my husband ordered a "Flawless" . So good. But my husband liked his first one better and I noticed there were fruit garnishes on our second round so the bartenders must have changed.
My husband and I split a ceaser salad which we devoured. They split the plate automatically for us without asking and added black pepper to our taste. Perfect service.
I ordered the salmon special which honestly the salmon was brilliantly cooked and yummy but didn't pair that well with the citrus dressing and greens topping it. I ate half of it and the rest of my grandma's John Dory. The John Dory is the best fing thing on this menu. You MUST order this dish. Or at the very least someone at your table willing to share. Thanks Gram! The sauce it's paired with is incredible and comes with the halibut too because my aunt order the parm encrusted halibut and she got the sauce. Hers was incredible too! Let's see.. My husband ordered a ribeye with mashed potatoes. Yes yes yes! I got one delicious ???? bite. And it was the best bite ever. My daughter got a kids size steak filet and after finishing it she ate some of the ribeye. She is a sucker for good steak. My son got mac and cheese and he's a Kraft fan so he wasn't impressed with the rotini shape and sauce.. But we were! We took it to go and ate it later. It was tasty. My great aunt ordered a prawn pasta she liked it. I could tell she'd ordered it before. I saw another person with it too so it's a popular dish.
Lastly on the food.. You'll definitely definitely want to save room in your belly and wallet for dessert, because this is where our Texas sized appetites were satiated. The portions are huge! We ordered a key lime pie, cheesecake and hot fudge sundae. My son got the hot fudge sundae (yes even after his meager attempt at his mac and cheese), but you have never seen a happier little boy in your life. There was a huge amount of whip cream atop the chocolate ice cream and then you get a little gravy boat full of hot fudge; he was having the best time pouring it on top. His face lit up! Get your child this sundae or be a kid again and get it for yourself. My aunt and gram shared with him but he ate a lot of it. My daughter and great Aunt shared the keylime pie and OMG ITS THE BEST DANG key lime pie you've ever had. And we've been the the Florida keys and had plenty of their pie but this was better. Even my husband who doesn't care for it as much as my daughter and I, loved it. The portion looked was 2 slices in 1. It's creamy and not too sweet and the gram cracker crust is just perfect. My husband and I split the cheesecake bc he loves cheesecake. It was dense and perfectly made. But I need more than the little strawberry puree they put on the plate. My husband is a purest and loved it as is. Any critique I have is really my own taste preference and not the restaurant's quality. I know from eating there before that they will adjust anything you ask based on your tastes. Pan seared vs grilled, more sauce etc..
I mean this restaurant is top notch. It's been my grandparent's favorite since my childhood. Things come and go in Beverly hills but this restaurant is a staple.
You get what you pay for! This place is pricey but not in an exorbitant kind of way. You will be happy to pay the prices once you experience the quality of service and food and atmosphere. If you want a good dinner by Rodeo Drive, this is the place!
People wear jeans and shirts here so no need to dress up but we always look nice when we go here.
Takeaways: if you like seafood, try the John Dory. Dress nice but not up and order the key lime pie if you're a fan. Kid friendly!

I honestly was debating between 3 and 4 because some of their dishes were good and some not that fresh. I defiantly recommend their oysters, so fresh. I also loved the lobster bisque soup, so creamy and full of lobster. The main dishes were my problem but maybe it’s because their specialty is steak cause they’re a steak house and I ordered shrimp pasta and brick chicken. To be honest with you the chicken was not fresh at all and had burnt portions that you could taste it. The shrimp pasta was so average except for the shrimp that was totally burnt instead of grilled and I couldn’t finish it. Price wise it’s not an expensive for a resturant fancy like this and right next to Rodeo drive. By the way, there’s a free parking right next to it.

I've heard great things about The Grill On The Alley. I made a reservation on OpenTable for a Monday evening. They weren't busy when we first arrived, but it gradually got busier as our dinner continued. I particularly wanted to sit in a booth, but was seated down across from one. I'm not sure how they decide these things, but there were plenty of open booths still open.
The restaurant is quite spacious. Despite there being a significant number of people around us, it was surprisingly still quiet. I think most people know their manners at a place like this. Looks like we got the happy hour crowd, but middle aged and older... I hear that's the usual age group here.
We weren't super hungry, so we decided to order a dish each and share. We each started with an iced tea. The complimentary bread arrives warm, tastes fresh and comes with 3 different dips. I ordered the Pot Pie and my friend had the Cobb Salad. While the Cobb Salad was tasty, the Pot Pie is amazing. They're well known for this delicious tasting Pot Pie. It arrived at the table hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I highly recommend trying the Pot Pie. Friendly server and fast service.
Side Note: Put your phone on silent when you're out to dinner with other people. It's rude. We don't need it to ring every time you get a text message. Common sense. To the guy in the booth across the way from us....
