Had one of the best carne grill cheese with plantain’s. Great service! Never leave your drink empty.
Went for either a late lunch or early dinner. So wasn’t too busy, but service was great and came out very quickly. Delicious and fair portions. Definitely coming again.

Really excellent food, service, and price! It's a staple, and for a good reason. Can't go wrong!

Just popped in for take out not knowing much about the place... staff were welcoming, didn't have to wait long and the food was delicious!

On good days it’s delicious especially when everything tastes fresh. But on too many occasions I’ve been encountering overcooked seafood or meats, over salted, and or taste of mold in my food, which is a shame because this restaurant is just minutes walk from where I live.

Service lacked a bit, drinks good, food okay. Was hoping for Puerto Rican style, but not even close. Service was the main issue for me. Waiter looked lost.

Great place for brunch. Everything on the menu is delicious. Lots of food to share with one or more persons if ordering more then one plate. The salsa and chips are delicious.

Ok First and foremost "La Bamba" is a Caribbean cuisine place but at first look you might think is a Mexican restaurant...Thats what I thought looking at the tacos and All different types of burritos.
The restaurant is located in a nice area, the atmosphere is also nice,Service is great. The food for me as a American Salvadoran/Mexican was a little of a culture shock...I mean I love black beans but when I got my Tilapia with rice and Black beans it looked very appetizing but one bite from the beans,…and they were really sweet? Which threw me off completely! The Tilapia was really good the rice also had a different taste then what I'm use to.
Overall I wish there was something that says what type of Caribbean cuisine that it is like Cuban? Puerto Rican? Because most people would confuse it for Mexican Restaurant.

Pretty sure this is the best Caribbean food in LA, this place is total hidden gem. The furnishings are modest, all the care is put into the food. From the fresh chips and homemade spicy tomatillo salsa down to having a great cup or coffee. The pork is amazing, get the giant burrito wet or the tamales and the plantains are the best I've ever had, dessert like, and amazing. The beans you get with almost every dish and they are tender, sweet, and taste of cinnamon.
