Absolutely terrible food.
The chicken was spoiled (Im a Chef and definetly know the difference between spoiled and marinated) and the pork was dry and flavorless. I ended up just asking the nice waitress for the check. She offered to have the cook make me another one, to go if I wanted, but I did not want anything coming out of that kitchen. For here or to go.
Worst part is the owner was walking around and was not at all interested in what was going on.
I paid the check in full, left a nice tip and left.
NEVER to return.

This place is fantastic. Jason, the owner, was there when I dined with my friends and he was an amazing host, suggesting his favorite dishes, pouring us good wine, and stopping by every now and then for some good conversation. The food is also soooo good, you really can’t go wrong with a dish here, but I loved the Arroz Con Pollo. The plantains were delicious!!! So filling and very affordable, this will be my new Cuban joint my for sure.

I had pollo al mojo de ajo OMG it was dry, the black beans tasted awful and yuca obviously the mojo on it was from the bottle. The place do not look clean and service was not great either. My last time here.

Great food, welcoming atmosphere, local favorite. We visit often because the Cuban staples are all on point. Chef is creative and there’s always something new to try. Must visit!!

Different menu due to a special wine dinner with Gourmet Wine Getaways. Every dish was great. Paired with the appropriate wine from Monticello Winery made them even better. Looking forward to returning for the regular menu.

So disappointing, expensive too.
Thought I would treat myself to a good meal on my day off and chose this place.
(Almost) EVERYTHING had vinegar in it. This is the first time I ever tried rice that had vinegar in it. Btw, the rice was par-boiled. Also a first for me in a cuban restaurant.
The fried pork tasted reheated, nothing about it tasted fresh and the presence of vinegar was strong. The yuca had so much garlic and vinegar that it was over powering, I couldnt eat it. Yuca is also a $9 side dish, yup $9. The tostones where the size of a half dollar coin, only thing on my playe without vinegar and when I mentioned how small they where the server said “thats just how every restaurant serves them now, you should have gotten two but I gave you 4”.
Huh? What?..
I could keep this rant going but Im going to be done.
Skip this place…

Awesome spot! Really kind service and tasty food. I sat out on the patio. We had the Cuban style roast pork, garlic roasted chicken, fresh coconut water, and an espresso at the end of the meal. Everything was delicious. The seats on the outside patio are very relaxing as well. Will definitely be back!

Our favorite Cuban restaurant, we been customers since early 90’s, you must try the chicken garlic fry with vinegar and onions, with fry plantain and black beans, or garlic pork, ropa vieja dish, don’t forget to ask for the mamey shake, everything is delicious, hands down the best
