One of the best meals I have had anywhere in the world. It’s an intimate dining room with a casual yet cool scene, but the real star here is the food. To start, get the Chicken Liver Mousse and the Radicchio Caesar. Don’t miss the masa fitters with prosciutto and truffle honey. This dish beautifully embodies Alimento’s sophisticated Angelino take on Italian cuisine. The pastas are to die for. We loved the Tortellini en Brodo which is a sort of beautifully buttery Italian soup dumpling. Dessert and the wine program are also world class.
The food is absolutely incredible here, but the pacing of the meal is bad. It took almost an hour to get pasta.

Nice ambiance and wide wine selection; great for date night! The chicken liver crostone was a highlight, really well-balanced with the rhubarb jam! Scallop crudo was just ok — the ponzu was deliciously acidic but the almonds weren’t a great combo; scallops could also be served cooler (warmed to room temp really quick). The radiatori was simple but delicious with yummy pork sugo. The fusilli was decent — clams were good, as was the smoked butter sauce (though as butter lovers, we could only eat so much of it).

It’s my first time back after the restaurant reopened post renovation. The food is as delicious as ever. The beef tartare with soy cured egg yolk, cracked farro salad and chili ribs are always good choices. The spaghetti with Dungeness crab and the fusilli with clams were satisfying. The orata with pesto trapanese and bean puree was the hands down favorite. The service is superb. The place is also dog friendly like most places in Silverlake.

Ambiance is A+. Food was very good, not mind blowing. Waiter made fun of us during dinner, then later asked twice to leave our table while partner was using restroom and knocked on the bathroom door to hurry us out. It was weird.

We stopped here during the pandemic for pick up order that took forever but it was very good. They get very busy and the food can take some time. However, its great value overall with unique other bakery items such as Khachapuri. Moreover, parking can be challenging here. Id love to go back for a dine in experience.
we ordered the napoleon pizza and the fungi. the crust is perfect and well balanced. The fungi is delicious as well although its not my favorite type of pizza.

Everything was delicious. The small dishes were probably the best. My favourite was the pork ribs. My pasta was also impeccable.

This restaurant is a great location in our neighborhood of Silverlake, CA. Despite the pandemic, the service continuous to be to notch. Thank you All for such a great environment and keeping us all safe as much as possible.

Craving for some good Italian, get a table for two. Service was very friendly and attentive (nothing like other reviewer mentioned) minimalist design and decor, simple and clean.
We start with smooth delicious chicken liver pate, followed by tender octopus, just right amount of spicy ribs, al dente duck sausage lumache, all good but until acqua pazza show up, it's just so far away from their Instagram picture (look like two different dish) and way too salty.
Overall it was a great dinner.

Upon arriving promptly at our appointed time (6:45), we were told by the hostess there is another party of four after us at 8:15. Maybe it is a common practice in Silver Lake area but in all of our travels/eating out, that was a first ???? Ok. We can compartmentalized that from the rest of our dinner experience. After all, we are here for the food. Let me be honest, Italian food hasn't been our thing for a long time. It used to be all we cook at home. I think we were hoping for a fresher take on Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, we didn't find that here. Despite the fact that it is the height of summer produce season, all dishes we ordered were BROWN, and a touch heavy on the salt. Preparation is superb but perhaps not suitable for a 82f summer evening in SoCal. Staff is great (minus the hostess of course). Our dinner just did have the right balance with the hot summer evening.
