We originally found 101 Coffee Shop on Google trying to find a good diner, and we were led to “Clarks Street Diner.” I was greatly confused at first because all of the photos of 101 looked like we were in the right place, but the menu and signage indicated something else. So I asked the waiter, and he informed me that 101 is no longer but it’s under new ownership as Clark’s. The coffee is legit, and strong unlike most diners I’ve frequented. It tasted great, life a real cup of coffee.
My partner had the corned beef hash with sunny side up eggs. I went for the Diner Breakfast - some of the most delicious, buttery scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and hash browns I’ve ever had. Let’s talk about these hash browns, because they deserve special recognition. You know how sometimes you can have really crispy hash browns, like you can pick it up and eat it? Or, you may have the shredded ones that are soft and requires a fork? Somehow they made magic at Clarks and created a hash brown that could be both.
The place was very clean, inside the Adler Hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It has an old school diner feel with retro style decor and furnishings. I’d definitely re-visit if I was ever to be in that area of the Country again.
Big fan of Clark Street!!
We go to the bakery in Brentwood regularly for our dose of delicious pastries or “couques” like we say in Belgium. So when my dad told us about the 101 diner being taken over by Clark Street, let’s just say I was excited!
Every chance I get, I go get my dose of perfectly-executed diner food!
The prices are actually pretty fair for the quality and portions, especially when compared to their other locations.
I love their veggie sandwich (so moist and refreshing!) and their diner breakfast (their buttermilk pancakes are delicious!!). The French toast are very impressive as well.

Perfect for a breakfast diner experience.
Historical Hollywood classic diner, it has been taken over by Clark Street bakery, giving it a twist of modernity and a delicious selection of baked goods.
Would definitely recommend.

My first time at Clark Street Diner was amazing! We went on Sunday and the wait time was reasonable, seated within 20 mins. The service was excellent - very attentive and kind. I love diner food and Clark Street did not disappoint. The hash browns and the cappuccino stood out but everything was wonderful.

Historic diner serving pitch-perfect, elevated takes on diner classics. I wanted to order everything on the menu. Loved everything we tried and will be back to tackle lunch items like the delicious-looking patty melt, tuna melt and pastries/cakes!

The best. I bring everyone here and insist they all try the eggs Florentine or bagel with lox. I’m not a big salmon or lox but I’m a fan of theirs. Like the lox everything is of the highest quality. All pastries and bread are perfection and add their killer jam and we’re happy.
Excellent coffee too to boot.

Fantastic diner experience in a cozy atmosphere and setting. Went for breakfast but there is a full menu. Had a great breakfast omelette with fresh fruits and delish sourdough toast made fresh. The coffee was perfect and strong and we also shared an almond floor waffle I would also go back for. Overall great experience, great value and portions and good service.
Parking is free behind the hotel and if you have time, check out the hotel lobby for some good Hollywood nostalgia headshots.

Everything about Clark Street Diner is perfect! From the food and coffee to the service and atmosphere. It’s hard to find an amazing classic yet modern diner and they definitely checked all the boxes. Ebony was great and such a treat to talk to. I’ll definitely be back soon!

So happy to have this place open up in Franklin village. Awesome menu for breakfast and lunch, yummy pastries, good cold brew! And all in a classic and comfortable diner setting. Because they just opened up things are moving a little slower but just be patient with them ????
