Great pizza (like authentic Neopolitan style)...and their own adaptation of a tirimusi which was awesome. Great attentive service. Definitely coming back.
We were initially very excited to come here as it was recommended. We ignored the negative comments and came anyway. It was evident from the beginning that they didn’t care for us. We had asked for a high chair and the server placed it on the outside of our table. We were already seated and had ordered our food when a lady came out and said they had to move us cause the chair was in the way. We decided to just put the baby in the booth. The server had a MAJOR staring problem! The entire time we were there, he just stared! We felt so rushed to leave. They gave us our check without asking if we were even done. So rude! The check was a whole other mess. We NEVER asked for water to begin with and we got charged $4 for water donation and another $6.13 for staff health insurance! What in the actual?! Never again!

This is the former location of the long time Pizza Parlor, Pizza Buona, that moved down the street on Alvarado to cheeper accomodations... COSA BUONA is a bar that serves pizza... We all miss our original Pizza Buona that was an iconic Echo Park Landmark!
It is also the transfer point from the Number 4 Bus to the Number 2 Bus & that's why I'm outside this empty bar so often.

Went here with some friends late on a Friday and had some delicious pizza. A pleasant quiet spot that’s good for a date night or a small meet up and has some great food to keep you all busy. The Sicilian pizzas were delicious and honestly would’ve been great to split they were so big. Speedy service, pleasant wait staff and hostess, good vibes for our neighborhood pizzeria.

A neighborhood staple. Great Neapolitan style pizza, meatballs, and more. They use fresh ingredients and there’s attention to detail in all their offerings. Definitely get their tiramisu as well.

Loved this place! Cute little corner pizza place (they have a patio a little distance away) with great food! Tried the neopolitan style pizza and chicken wings and both were 5/5. The tres leches tiramisu was to die for! Highly recommend it :)

I had this place starred in my map for a while and was excited to try it, especially because it's still on Eater LAs top 19 pizza places in the city. Staff was very nice and friendly, our table was ready, and the ambiance was nice but the 3 stars is because the food just wasn't that good. The pizzas were cooked beautifully, but the crust was flavorless. When you have great leoparding on the crust, and the inside of the crust is nice and soft, you end up tasting the dough a lot more, and without a preferment or a sourdough component, it just tasted like flour...no extra flavor that makes good pizzas stand out from regular pizza. Sausage pizza toppings were good, but when you add prosciutto for $5 I expect more than 3 slices. Also, the sparking water was flat af, and my sister in law hated her cheese Sicilian, but I didn't taste hers.

Pizza: Delicious, Leopardy crust, Bianco Tomato, Juicy Pie. AND we got to chat w/ the Pizzaiolo, Raymond. So much fun.
Tiramisu: Gorgeous, generous and a delicious.
Service: Saturday evening Patio, Wish I could remember your name (begins w/ 'B' maybe)...; you were excellent.

It was good . Nice quaint atmosphere. Good music It’s one of those places that charge for made up fees ; “water donation” and health insurance. So plan on an automatic 5% surcharge . My preference is to just know up front what I’m paying. It’s like a phone bill with a bunch of hidden fees. Service was very nice . Pizza good, not great . I would not go out of my way to go there again but I would be happy if someone invited me. B+

Absolutely wonderful, this is by far our favorite restaurant in Echo Park, a delight in every sense. In a way it’s some kind of elevated, platonic ideal of a New Jersey pizza place with meatballs, chicken wings and simple pizzas on the menu… but that does nothing to describe how sublimely delicious and well prepared every dish is… throw in some lovely, low key service and a gentle atmosphere and it’s hard not to come here multiple times a month… good for a full bottle of wine in a Friday night or a quick pizza in a weekday, just love it. Dishes we have had and enjoyed thus far: vegetarian pizza, mushroom pizza, meatballs, broccolini, eggplant parm, chopped salad, green salad, tiramisu, cannoli, tens across the board!
