Cute and cozy hidden gem on historical Central Ave had corridor. It's in the former great Sunday hotel which is now converted into senior housing. The place is very welcoming and the servers are awesome. There is a new tax on the wall and the place just feels snazzy. The portion are huge and the food is great.
Hipster joint. Don't go here with high culinary hopes, fusion cuisine is always a toss up. Coworker ordered the brisket nachos. The brisket was tender and absolutely delicious, but you don't get a lot of it on the nachos. I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was bland but very fresh. Another coworker of mine got the meatloaf po boy, which he said was ok. We all enjoyed their drinks (sweet tea and punch aka kool-aid) more than the food. Absolutely gorgeous ambiance, high ceilings, great lighting, large windows, beautiful silk flower bouquets, and murals of famous jazz musicians decking out the hallways. I wouldn't come back for the food.

My husband and I go to Delicious on Dunbar to get our Southern food fix. The food is always delicious and hot, the staff is always professional, and it's a beautiful space. I highly recommend checking out Delicious on Dunbar!

My daughter and I were familiar with Delicious on Crenshaw, we did not know this was a family business. It was our first time at the Dunbar, but it will not be the last. The dining room is intimate and the food was really good. I'm looking forward to Sunday brunch, we were told there would be music.

Excellent service. The fried chicken is true to the business name Delicious! Delicious Southern Cuisine at the Dunbar is a classy place. A must try!
PS: I'm halfway through my meal. Sorry, forgot to take the photo prior to eating.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Delicious at the Dunbar. Their food is so good! I had the meatloaf, with greens and mac&cheese, I could not stop eating even though just half had me full. The wait service is also warm and welcoming. There is no dining in side, but the outside seating is nice, no matter the time of day. I consider this place a diamond in the rough. Mainly because this place celebrates the history of its location. Delicious at the Dunbar is located on central Ave, which is the birthplace to so many legendary jazz musicians. It also embraces social unity, and has a section on its menu dedicated to authentic Mexican cuisine. You can go wrong here, Go check them out, sit out side order a bottle of Moscato and enjoy the chill laid back vibes.

Underrated place. The food was decent and the service was great. But the place was empty. I'm surprised! We stumbled across this place because of Dine LA. HUGE portion sizes for the price. Cute local eatery in south LA. We need more places like this in our area.
