Fantastic food and a wonderful environment! The servers were so friendly and can teach you everything you need to know about how to eat the soup dumplings. There were also delicious dessert dumplings that were filled with chocolate. Would highly recommend, everything was delicious.
This place was rather exceptional. The service was spot on and the environment was well lit and clean. Not a dry glass, not one empty plate sitting for very long. They were very attentive to our needs.
The flavors that came from each dish were amazing but the show stopper was the soup. Oh my lord!!! The flavor was amazing and the meat just melted in your mouth. The soup dumplings were really good as well!! Chicken fried rice, and the Ribs!!!
Let me just end by saying we ate it all!!

Delicious vegan Bao, dumplings and Sesame buns for dessert. Many vegan items! This place is best for dumplings and buns, don’t recommend the rice cakes.
Excellent service!

Awesome Taiwanese soup dumplings in Los Angeles county. If you’ve never had a xiao long bao before then your missing out, BIG TIME. Din Tai Fung makes carefully crafted and super flavorful soup dumplings. Now your there for the dumplings but they also serve a plethora of other delicious, authentic or close to snacks. Per my Taiwanese wife, ????. Great stuff and a must try. It’s also great to see them being made fresh too. I wouldn’t expect any less of a show from L.A..
Dos dumplings up ????????

Service was very slow, and the serving sizes were not that big. We ordered dishes to share, but dishes came one at a time. Not sure if that's what they usually do here. It's not like they are different meal courses, they were all main dishes except for one appetizer. Dishes also don't come with rice, unless it's the fried rice meals.

What’s not to love . The chicken soup ( bone in) is back ! We got here at 11am and the line is already getting a bit longer . We were told there will be a wait list 15 mins after 11. Shrimp fried rice was x awesome , the spicy pork wonton was great , the green beans are green beans , and the xiao long Bao ( pork ) was the best ! Keith our server was super friendly n knowledgeable about the menu . 5 stars on service , 5 stars on food quality , 5 stars on ambiance . Great place !

Din Tai Fung is an excellent place to have dumplings. Please be aware - this place is very popular and your wait time is likely to be over an hour if you don't reserve a table ahead of time.
Everything I had here was delicious. They even have a window to the kitchen so you can watch how the food is prepared. I highly recommend the Xiao long bao dumplings of either variety - there's a reason those are the signature dish. There's also an assortment of tea to try - the peach tea was refreshing and tasty.
The service was excellent from beginning to end. Drinks were never empty and servings were brought out to the table in waves to prevent the table from becoming overcrowded.
Don't forget to save room for dessert - the chocolate filled dumplings are a real delight.

Almost always need to come to Din Tai Fung when in LA. We went Saturday morning around 11am and only waited 10min. So definitely recommend coming early to beat the line. For appetizers we got sweet pork ribs, seaweed tofu salad, and the tofu noodles salad. Definitely liked the tofu noodle salad the best. The pork ribs seemed a tad too sweet for me.
For the soup dumplings, we got the pork and truffle mix dumplings, and the crab and pork mix dumplings. I liked the pork/truffle mix dumplings a lot, and didn’t really like the crab/pork mix. I should just stick to the plain pork soup dumplings or the pork/truffles mix next time!
We got vegan mushroom buns - those were pretty yummy.
Also ordered sautéed garlic spinach - was a bit too oily.
Nevertheless, will probably come back again and again since I do really like their soup dumplings. Just wish they would expand to other cities outside of California!

Good was really good we got the pork soup dumplings, shrimp fried rice, cucumber salad, and the chicken wonton. The aesthetic, the ambiance and everything was amazing! We were lucky that the wait wasn’t too long and went during sunset! We got a meal and a beautiful view.

The food here is always good. Service was excellent too. You will have to plan in advanced of you like to eat here because the wait to get a table can take an hour or two but the wait for the bar is normally shorter like less than 30 minutes depending on your luck.
