Love this place! They sat us on the patio with our dog and we had such a great meal! The burrata was delicious, the cacio e pepe was exactly what you’d want and the sliders were good too. Yummy drinks and nice wine selection too!
The service and food was excellent. Ordered the lobster pasta, and was impressive, I would suggest more of a spice to the dish. I added the parmesean cheese and this was a game change: Gave a whole new taste, was the best parm I had ever tasted. The Scallops and mushrooms were my least favorite. Nothing to write about. This was my first experience eating veal, and I don't think I would eat this any other way than how I had it prepared at Drago. Was a memorable taste, and very pleased with the whole experience

Food was great and every ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The service was on point. Not too rushed, not too lazy.

Great service, great food and a wonderful bar. This is a gem of a restaurant that you should go to if you are in the area. We have been multiple times and every time it is a great experience. The baby artichokes salad and the grilled peach salads were great. The branzino was very fresh and perfectly cooked. My date has pasta with pheasant and mushrooms and he said it was incredible.

I just had one of the best not just Italian meals in all the times I’ve been to Los Angeles, but, certainly, one of the best meals. I get to LA about once a month and I’m constantly looking for new in different places to eat. Being of Italian ethnicity and growing up in the restaurant business, I am very VERY picky when it comes to Italian food. Everything about my meal was perfect. My server, Mitch, was friendly and attentive. My water glass was never empty, my food was delivered hot and fresh, and a slightly special request was accommodated with pleasantness rather than frustration.
The pasta I had (Zuppa Di Mare) was full of vibrant flavor, and the noodles themselves were homemade and cooked perfectly.
The portion, although slightly on the smaller side, was still plenty.
The real treat, though, was the fresh cannoli for dessert. It was spectacular.
If you haven’t eaten at Drago, you owe it to yourself to try it.

Spectacular presentations. Had the Pulpo and the arugula salad. Sterling service, close to music center, wide choice of options. Cabernet markups a bit high. Overall a great experience

Had a business dinner here, very accommodating to changing reservation numbers.
Really great food - the most interesting was the octopus (picture attached) which was cooked to perfection. All the other dishes were good but to be expected for a restaurant of this caliber.
Removing 2 stars because our server wasn’t the greatest, and disappeared at the end of the meal (I guess because he didn’t have to work for it because of the mandatory 20% tip on large parties) - had to hunt down a bartender to pay my bill.
Definitely ruined the experience and would probably not bring other guests here again in the future.

What a wonderful experience! The staff was awesome; thank you, Mark, for your recommendations, and for spending a few minutes to chat. Our waiter, Michael C. WOW over the top! And the food: BEST I HAVE HAD! Every bite was delicious! We will be back!

This is the fancy Italian restaurant at downtown LA. The ambience of the restaurant is so nice and cozy. The service is so good. The food was excellent as well as the beverages and wine.
