This place is fabulous! The sushi is great quality and the service was excellent. I’m so glad I found this hidden gem!
Unassuming setting with affordable, top tier sushi that melts in your mouth. Omakase is the right answer.

Went there for dinner a few weeks ago. The reason I have no photos to share was because we were too mindblown by the great food and too busy to devour it. My daughter (who doesn't eat fish) devoured 4 or 5 cucumber rolls and declared it was the best food she ever ate. Me and my wife were even more impressed by the phenomenal sushi!

Excellent. I was married to a Japanese photographer and was in different cities/country in Japan for extended period and lived in NYC, trying many Japanese restaurants. The daily special and "skipjack" fish was exquisite. What a find. Not fancy, but if you care about the food and very good service, you won't be disappointed.

I only know Echigo for their lunch special. But it’s always lovely. Great quality fish, super quick and thoughtful service. They are the realness.

Omakase was incredible! We had seaweed salad, 8 pieces, and a blue crab hand roll for 45 dollars.

Was a little nervous walking in and there only being one other party, but once we got a few dishes, the quality of the fish was great and the restaurant started to fill out. Nothing inventive but very chill. The bar is for omakase only.

My family and I love coming to the Sushi Bar because the rolls are amazing! I have tried a couple of different rolls but as soon as I tried the Chahi roll I was hooked! The sushi chef Jason is amazing, super friendly and very talented and when he sees my mother and I arrive he already knows what we're going to order. That kind of friendliness feels great and keeps us coming back to The Sushi Bar! The restaurant is small and you may not always find a table or a seat at the bar right away. But it is worth the wait!

Some of the best bang for your buck if you love an omakase. The fish is very fresh and you do get some interesting selection, not just a generic maguro, sake, hamachi type thing. Eight pieces + hand roll was $40 -- very good deal.
