Nice little spot. Popped in for a beer and a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. Lively atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. Got the chicharrones. Id never had Salvadorian chicharrones before so it was not at all what I expected. But it was delicious nonetheless. Like chunks of fatty carnitas. Hit the spot. I was in a rush or I'd have ordered other dishes. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely come back.
Once again Salvi restaurant never disappoints. Long waits and terrible service. I ordered a bean and cheese quesadilla and they bring me one with meat. Then the have the audacity to still charge me for it. Simply rude. Just stick to Vchos trucks for some real Salvadoran food. Never again here.

Pupusas is not the only dish they sell, with a good variety, but , I may say if you are hungry for pupusas the freshness is good.

Went here for my sister's birthday. Had a great time and the food was amazing and waiters/waitresses were very nice. 10/10, there's seating in the back as well, but you can't tell until you go all the way to the back. You need to wear a mask but that wasn't a big deal.

I order the Sopa de Gallina from El Baron restaurant today. The soup was so disgusting very oily and salty. I love Latin America food but El Baron is far away from good quality of food, their soup is pure Chicken Broth Concentrate, with Canola Oil. Be careful you can easy get food poison but eating a soup like that.

The service was great, the ambient was quiet because we are inside but outside in the parking lot they had loud music and it seemed like a fun place to eat. The food was very tasty, we ordered some pupusas and the Carne asada von camaron plate.

Another pupusa gem!!! Really good pupusas, yucca sancochada con chicharrón, empanadas de leche y de frijol. Really good curtido and sauce. Try this place. Im not Salvadorean but I've eaten pupusas all up and down LA and this place makes good food

El baron is one of my favorite places to come and share a meal with friends and family. I've been loyal to this location for more than 10 yrs. And it never fails to disappoint from the pupusas to pastelitos and pan de gallina. I'm always content with my meal. Not to mention the aguas frescas !
If you're reading this, stop by and try the authentic salvadorian meals.
Gracias a mi gente de El Baron, que nunca fallan en traer los sabores de él Salvador y con excelente servicio

Best place to eat breakfast on a Sunday morning! Pupusas are on point and the service as well. I recommend "La Peperecha" to have a variety of Carne Asada, Chorizo Salvadoreño and a Pupusa of your choice with a side of Casamiento to fill your day. Add a Cafesito and it's a great meal!!!

This was my first experience with Cuban cuisine in the US and I really didn't know what to expect. I had seen one of their brochures and called-in my order in advance because I didn't know what the inside of the establishment was like.
It was a Thursday night and the inside was jam-packed!! Lots of families getting together and there was plenty of laughter that was heard amongst the Latin music playing the background. Although the seating was simple with hard-wooden chairs and tables, it didn't seem to bother anyone. Everyone was smiling and happy!
I walked to the window and waited another 5 minutes and paid for my food; got home and wasn't disappointed.
The portions were gigantic (even for me)!!!
I ordered 2 seafood soups and a veggie burrito. Both were fantastically seasoned and filling! Although they forgot to order my plantains, I was still extremely satisfied with my meal. I recommend if you're in the area.
