I loved this restaurant! It’s small and it’s super cute. I really love how the place is decorated. I felt happy just sitting there waiting for my food. The food itself was so good, too! I had the two green enchiladas lunch plate and I enjoyed it so much. They even put an adorable flag in the rice. It was such an unexpected little touch. You can tell that the owners are proud of their restaurant. The staff was very friendly and so nice. The prices were so reasonable that, honestly, I feel like they should probably be charging more. I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the area!
Friendly service, very small, looks closed most of the time but isn’t. Easy parking, good food and agua frescas

Free chips and salsa: I'll make them regret that. I went there for Cinco de Mayo. Congratulations Puebla for spanking the French's hinnies. So I got mole. Little Mexican flag in my rice! Kawaī. Now when I get a hamburger and French fries I wanna little American flag in my burger.

Amazing authentic decor, the environment really makes you feel as you are in Mexico. Our server was attentive and super nice. The food is good too, the guacamole was fresh and I really liked the molé sauce that was used on the complimentary chips. Thank you!

Had the eggs rancheros. The first time. Had this burrito the second. Wonderful food. The lady's are sweet and the place is clean. Little small. But healthy and moderately priced.

Tenderized beef tacos preferred to chorizo and pastor. Prices in the bill are about 25 cents higher than the menu but still amazingly low for the quantity and quality. Outdoor seating great for dogs. Cucumber lemonade for $3.25. Pastor burrito $9.75. Homemade sour cream. Maybe the additional price is deserved for the dips and homemade sour cream and brilliant service. Plenty of nearby metered street parking (free on Sundays) and a park (no soccer permitted)

Been on a really long road trip from Texas. Have been to countless restaurants along the west coast. This was definitely one of our favorites! My wife said it’s the best Mexican food she has had since she lived in El Paso. She had the beef taquitos and loved them. The waitress Navit was very friendly and provided great service.
I had the hard shell beef tacos and the sopes. Really good with the green and red salsa’s that they provided. We also ordered the cucumber lemonade and the horchata! So good!
Went to a fancy Mexican restaurant in LA that didn’t even compare to El Patroncito. This place is authentic. We were staying next to the Staples center and decided to go here on a whim. So glad we did!

Visited this place today, for the first time. Service was great. The lady (I believe her name was Laura) was very nice and friendly. We placed our orders right away. We enjoyed some complimentary tortilla chip and salsa, which were delicious, while we waited for our food. The food took about 10/15 minutes to come out. It definitely wasn't a long time. Especially for fresh food. I ordered some asada nachos and an order of asada sopes. Both didn't let me down. Nachos were a lot bigger then I expected and tasty???? The sopes were pretty good and decent sized too (the roasted chile on the side is a BIG +). The horchata was also delicious. No complaints. Will definitely keep this spot in mind when I'm in the area again.

Came here for brunch on Saturday and fell in love with this place. The restaurant is so cute, the service is top notch and the food is very good. It is so refreshing to have an authentic Mexican spot in downtown. This part of the city has too many overpriced, mediocre "high end" Mexican food. El Patroncito feels like a visit to your grandma's house. I had the green chilaquilles, and also tried the enchiladas and fish & shrimp ceviche. All were bomb.
