I have been a regular to Father's Office since I lived, blocks from the Santa Monica location. My family and I would frequent that location from 2001-2008, until we moved to Culver City. For the last few months, I have been meeting my girlfriend at the Culver City location right around opening at 5PM, for beer and burgers. Last time I went last month (April) I ordered beer and received a dirty glass (glass has tons of bubbles from nucleation sites). Today I ordered a beer 5 minutes after open to not only get the same type of dirty glass, but it also has lipstick smudges on it. I reported it right away to my bartender and he immediately replaced the glass and beer. I am not sure if something has happened with your protocol/guidelines for cleaning glassware before you open.
Best burger in west LA. Better than in n out. So much flavor, no substitutions allowed, must order as is. Bit pricey at $19 just for the burger plus $8 for the fries plus drinks. Great indoor and heated outdoor seating, no reservations taken. Huge, huge beer selection. Free parking lot in the front and rear. A very cool place to grab a beer and high quality burger.

The fries were great, the burger was so juicy and flavorful, the vinegar tater tots amazing, and the bone marrow.... meh. Everything was great but the marrow we got barely had anything in it so everything was worth it except the marrow for me.

The service is at the counter and I've said it and I will say it again. It's not for everyone and certainly not for every restaurant.
I'd prefer for the mood and food they are going for to have waiters...
The food was good and it's perfect to share with the table but I felt it was a bit pricey!

This is an institution in Culver City. The beer selection is good and the food goes great with it! I always get the sweet potato fries and the bone marrow. It ne et disappoints.

Been wanting to come here for quite some time, and finally took the plunge.
Firstly and most importantly is you CANNOT alter your food order in anyway. I feel they made it clear but sure enough within minutes of arriving I saw customers upset with this policy. I have no issue with this so I ordered the cheeseburger.
The burger was pretty good, it had a depth of flavors that I enjoyed. I believe this to be the reason they don’t substitute, it’s meant to be enjoyed as a whole complete item.
My biggest issue was the prices. They charge an arm and a leg and while I enjoyed my meal I don’t think ill be returning on a regular basis unless I want to bankrupt myself.

unassuming spot with one of the best burgers! salt & vinegar tots were perfectly fried and the drinks were also tasty. highly recommend if you’re wanting some laid back and casual with good food & drinks

Local gastropub with an array of beer options and tasty food. This spot is much larger than the Santa Monica location, and has both an indoor and an outdoor patio. You show your ID to the bouncer first before going in. Metered street parking. Credit cards are accepted. You order both your drinks and food at the bar, pay, and then receive a number to place at your table. It’s open seating, though another couple tried claiming that an empty table we had placed our number at already was theirs (we just let it go and found a different booth, but the entitlement of some people bewilders me).
No modifications are allowed to the food, including the office burger. However, it is one of the best burgers in LA (though it is pricey) and you should definitely get it along with a basket of frites. The fried chicken sandwich was alright - note that there is kimchi in it. The chicharrones were super delicious and I would recommend getting them - the green sauce on the side added some additional oomph. You get water at the bar as well. There’s a good amount of options so come with a couple of different people and order a bunch of things to split

This place deserves every bit of a 5 star review. Tremendous selection of beer and while not an extensive food menu, what they do have will satisfy something for everyone. My partner and I got the Chorizo fritters (which I’m still craving after the fact), Spicy Stout Ribs (so delicious), Frites (which comes with a delicious mayo dipping sauce), Westmale Dubbel, Hitachino Nest White Ale and Grimm Artisanal Ales Double. Highly recommend Fathers Office!

Great place to hang out with friends, order a tasty burger and put a few cold ones down. Plenty of options on tap, bartenders are very knowledgeable and will lead you to unfamiliar but pleasant and savory suds. Great and friendly service, didn’t have to wait long at all for the order to come out. Plenty of outdoor seating, sufficiently spaced. Just don’t ask for ketchup or you will be frowned upon and escorted off the premises.
