If you’re looking for a religious experience — skip your Sunday church plans and come directly to the house of happiness, found oyster. An east coast vibe that brings LA the thing we’ve been missing, epic raw bar. A must visit, it’s on my shortlist for anyone coming to LA. And the team are some of the nicest and most interesting people you might ever meet! ????????

Pure and utter perfection. We waited 20 minutes or so, but you can order wine while you sit outside waiting. Sit at the bar if you can! The crab cocktail with ritz are worth every penny. The oysters are good and usually a few to choose from. I wish they had more of a garnish or a horseradish, but still good. The scallop tostada was the other stand out. I’d take or leave the fried oyster. When there is so much fresh and raw fish, go with that. Lovely staff at the bar.

Love the vibe of this place - fun, easy and bumpin'. A great date spot. Oysters are fresh and luscious, albeit a narrow selection of just 2 types when we went. The scallop tostada is genius. Lobster roll was good. The uni dish could have used just a sprinkling of the shoyu powder instead of the liberal spread on top of it - the vast coat of shoyu dimmed the freshness of the uni. Get the bar seat if you can - the staff are warm and friendly!

Really disappointed as I was hoping to love this place. The oysters were incredible, I can’t deny that. But the rest of the menu was rather limited and wildly expensive for tiny tiny portions. This is also while sitting on a sidewalk in a plastic chair on a busy street- not a high end dining experience where two bite portions would be expected. Went with two friends and the bill totaled 360… we all left starving and went to another restaurant. It also took about 1.5 hours to get a table, which was fine, we had a bottle of wine and sat on some construction cones. But once we actually sat down, our waiter didn’t bring us menus for 20 minutes - we had to flag someone down every time. He also was wildly unpleasant and clearly not interested in his job - but they charge a flat 20% tip fee on every bill so I guess he just doesn’t have to be? Really bummed.

One of the best seafood experiences to be had in LA. A must-visit. Come BEFORE they open to secure a table. Enjoy!

We went there around 9ish and it was pretty busy. We waited for about 35-40 min but they let us drink while waiting. After that we got seated and we ordered 6ea oysters, scallop tostadas, 2 specials the jumbo asparagus and the potatoes. Last but not least the steak. They spaced everything perfectly for us and it was all sharable. Such great flavors.
We also later added the key lime pie and it was a good ending to the night.

This place came highly recommended for oysters, so wanted to check it out. Overall, this was a delicious meal and I would recommend going if you’re comfortable with spending a lot, can go at a time where there isn’t a long wait, can be seated indoors, and you want to experience eating the highest quality raw seafood. If you’re simply craving oysters or seafood in general, I think there are other places that would satisfy the craving with less cost and wait. There is also an automatic 20% gratuity added and frankly, I think this is fair given the staff is constantly working and they are just shucking oysters and prepping seafood non-stop. If the US just paid their service workers more fairly we’d never have to worry about gratuity (shrug)

We (group of 2) ordered the Baywatch platter, two orders of the Maine scallops (big favorite!!), two oysters Moscow, the fried oysters and the fat & flour key lime pie. Only food we regretted ordering was the fried oysters, too much breading and too oily. Seemed like a waste of good oysters and I felt in general, I wouldn’t order any of the cooked seafood given how fresh everything is raw and you can get the same cooked seafood dishes (clam chowder, lobster roll, steamed clams with fries) for similar quality with better pricing. The pie was a perfect end to the meal.

Lastly, I would hesitate to return since we waited over an hour and a half on a Saturday night to be seated and unfortunately, since the indoor space was small we were seated outside when it was getting quite cold. This is called “America’s sexiest restaurant” by Infatuation and I felt like I missed out on the cozy ambiance and allure when I’m eating raw food next to nearby passing cars haha.

Found oyster is my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. The staff is welcoming and the food is delicious. I love dining inside and outside. That scallop tostada is a must order.

Freshest oysters, sea urchin, and crudo at Los Angeles. The seatings are small, and during daytime the outdoor seating is too hot. But food is still impeccable.

Food: (while limited) 10/10
Drinks: (beer and wine only) 10/10 great short selection.
Service: 10/10
Atmosphere: 9/10

Phenomenal experience here on their outdoor streetery. Service was prompt. Beer and wine selection was limited, but well curated. The only red on the menu was a chilled one, which was excellent with the food we ordered. The inside looked lively and happening. The one point knock is only cause the volume of the music in the volume was excessive, even for a guy who loves loud music. Will return here next time I'm in LA.
