I'd heard about this place being a pandemic era home cooking joint with a mean chicken pot pie. They now have a shop in the shopping center at the corner of sunset and silver lake Blvd. They are open for 12 hours a week right now, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. If you want a chicken pot pie or other such big item you need to order it ahead of time at their website. If you do a walk up they have breakfast biscuits and a rotating selection of pastries. I had a sausage and egg biscuit. It is huge, very much something you would see in Nashville but unusual here. It easily was two meals of food (I'm 6'1"/ 190), I ate it at 1030 am and I'm still full at 5 pm. Delicious, of course.
I got a couple doughnuts and a pastry. The doughnuts were incredible, I haven't had the pastry yet (I shared the doughnuts with my partner). I hesitated about even writing a review because I'm sure this place is going to be a total scene when the word gets out. As it stands when I went on a Friday morning after opening it was not crowded.
I will return for the chicken pot pie.

I had an out of body experience when I tried their soft pretzel, sourdough bread, chocolate chip cookies, and jelly doughnut.
Hannah and Connor are incredible individuals and that is reflected in their baked goods.

Really good Apple fritter and oatmeal cookie if you like sweet things! If not, I would try their bacon and cheddar jalapeño scone, tasty!
