The burger was good... nothing amazing, but it wasn't bad. The look of the place definitely captured my attention and made me want to try it. The chocolate pie is heavenly tho. The pie is what made me happy. LOL
Loved this burger, truly classic smashed both juicy and crispy. One of the best smashburgers I’ve had and enjoyable to sit in the patio.

This burger shop is incredibly quick making their burgers, as they smash them for quicker speeds and a lighter feel. I definitely recommend adding an extra patty if you're really hungry, unless you're purchasing their fries. Their fries are on the salty side.
This place is very open, with an outdoor-y feel to it. Napkins are situated throughout the establishment, and the tables are tall and positioned against the wall.
Make sure to see whether your whole order is there if you got any drinks, as they may forget it. (They forgot my sparkling water)

Solid burgers, but nothing to go out of your way for. Would of preferred my bottled soda ice cold in this 95 degree weather but whatevers.

Easy to find. Parking up front or in the neighborhood. There is a seating area right next door. You can dine in or take it to go. They have a pretty quick turnaround. I got the original Golden Burger, which I suggest for your first visit. I also got the regular fries and the pecan pie, yum! The burger was well cooked and the cheese was melted just right. It was not runny or greasy. The sauce, which is a garlic aioli was bomb! They also serve it with the fries an an option. The fries were really good. I actually still had some fries about two hours later, as I filled up on the burger and pie, and they held up pretty well. Not soggy or super soft. That is a sign of a good fry. The pie was not overwhelming sweet, it was just right. The crust was thick but soft. A beautiful combination. Will definitely be back. Want to try the LA Special next time round.

The average looks aren't everything, but unfortunately, the unique taste of the burger on top of them wasn't enough to justify the hit my wallet took, in my opinion. $10 for this burger, as good as it is, seems like too much to me, especially with McDonald's and Burger King on the same street. I'll save this place for casual special occasions rather than let it be a regular stop for me.
I should mention, though - these were the best shoestring fries I've had in recent memory. Those are worth the $4. The burger, I'm not so sure about.

It's official Goldburger is as good as gold! The LA Special burger with Pastrami was juicy and flavorful throughout and the Fries were perfectly hot and crispy in a generous portion. Ordered at the takeout window and it was ready in less than 5 minutes. Free street parking only.

Great smashed style burger! My husband ordered the patty melt and I chose the Goldburger. We were happy with both. Goldburger has two crispy, delicious patties, lots of cheese and onion goodness. The fries were a tad less than fresh - nothing to write home about. BUT! All in all an interesting and tasty take on classic burgers! If that is what you're looking for you won't be disappointed. :)

Probably the best burger in LA, which is saying a lot I know but I’ve had a lot of them. Perfect smash burger with onions so juicy and crispy you want to order a second one and won’t be able to eat it (guilty) fries are also good, patio is nice and keeps people moving Bc you have to stand and eat lol. Enjoy!
