I haven't had Dim Sum for a while since we've had the pandemic years. My son wanted to treat me dim sum for my birthday. Unfortunately, our favorite restaurant is permanently closed (Ocean Seafood -- don't know why), so we had no choice to go to Golden Dragon Restaurant instead, however, I'm very disappointed because the quality of the food was under average, and very COLD dim sum. We had to order some more Chinese dishes such as stir-fried vegetables and fried rice were okay. On top of that, the wait is long including when you're already seated. The services are horrible!!! Waiters/waitresses didn't come to check to see how you're doing?! We asked them 4 times they didn't bring our glasses of water. We didn't ask for hot tea but he brought out a little pot of tea & 4 small cups threw them on our table without saying anything then charged us for it. Etc...still some more but I don't have enough space to lists them out. I'm not coming back and do not recommend trying.
Will return
Maybe it's weekday 9am, they use check list to order - no push cart. The food returns fast, and they're NOT steamy hot, but tasty. Overall atmosphere is good, Cantonese or Taishan dialog is being spoken, gives off the real Chinatown feel. Diners are mostly swarthy older gents.
The foods:
- The shrimp dumpling 虾饺 is juicy, with small shrimp, which I like - can't take a giant shrimp inside. Taking the fun of eating away
- Turnip cake is good, plenty turnip chunks
- Chicken feet is tender 凤爪
- Steamed tofu skin roll, tasted old 鲜竹卷
They didn't ask what kind of tea do we want. The tea pot doesn't leak. The waiting staff said the foods are prepared in their kitchen.
Oh the Peking opera ???? in the background is a killer. But I’m here for the food, hears no evil ????

I loved this place! The staff were very welcoming and graceful. Attentive and accommodating too, happily tweaked my dish according to my request! Food was absolutely delicious ???? I highly recommend the Singaporean Style Rice Noodle with Shrimp (pictured). The Tangerine Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice were also delicious. The jasmine tea served with the meal was fragrant and complemented the dishes well. Parking nearby seemed available and very affordable meters. Definitely returning ????????????????????????

Food is very basic, not good, only the decorations look good. Shrimp ball small and cold, bao small and bread soggy, porridge no taste, shrimp and leak dumpling little shrimp, skin thick and not steamed right.

Great dim sum, amazing service and fair price! Unfortunately they ran out of my favorite sweet rice cake, but everything we did get to order was great. So great I forgot to take pictures and went straight to eating. The rice noodles were soft but still held its shape. More importantly, the sauce was on point. The shrimp ball was also delicious. Super crispy and flavorful. Definitely will come back and try this again if I’m in the area.

In personal, this is a place not recommendation. The reason why that’s because the dim sums are too salty.
1 star for easy have parking and 1 star for the staff who always have smile to service my table.

Came here Monday for dimsum—overall the dishes were good, with the exception of the Xiao Long Bao which are soup dumplings but instead was dry, with no “soup”. Food came out fast too! The restaurant is huge, very spacious.
There is a parking lot next to the restaurant so make sure you get your ticket validated for free parking.

Authentic no thrill Chinese food with a large menu and affordable prices. I recommend the honey walnut shrimps, dim sum, green beans and Pepper beef. The ballroom style dining room accommodates large parties easily and parking can be found on the street.

The service was amazing and the staff was kind. The food tasted amazing- my group ordered the roast duck, crystal dumplings, pork and shrimp dumplings, and egg rolls. And the wonton soup. Everything was great and clean! Highly recommend. Food plates are family style

Pandemic visit: 11am visit
Good food but kind of expensive; dim sum adds up fast but you end up with lots of leftovers.
Valet parking on the side of the building; ask the restaurant to stamp the valet parking paper.
Good service.
Good time to learn/practice your Cantonese? Lol
Decent bathroom.
Kind of busy, surprisingly.
Very traditional/old imported decorations, made of wood.
Dine-in available.
Dim sum lunch special; $4 per dish
