Hail Mary is our fave pizza spot! We moved an hour away but the delicious food, music, and good people behind this establishment keep us coming back. Order the basque cake for dessert and thank me later! ;-)
Amazing pizza, the crust is truly one of a kind. I believe it is sourdough as well! One of my favorite things is to go and split a pizza and a salad. Surprisingly good small wine list as well. First class group of people in there.

The pepperoni had the right kick of spice and the sauce was perfection. Cheese tasted fresh and dough was crisp. Would definitely enjoy again.

Amazing pizza that is made fresh with unique topping combinations. They don’t have a delivery service, but have terrific pickup and are incredibly fast. Favorite pizza: Garbage Pizza

I picked up pizza for takeaway one Friday night. It was super easy to order off their website via Toast. I parked half a block away and there were plenty of spots.
The pizza was quite good, and super fairly priced (~$18 for a larger than one person sized pizza). The crust was a little too crispy and thin and the sauce wasn’t really my jam, but it’s definitely worth a try! Everyone was so friendly when I went to pick up too.

We visited on a Saturday evening for lunch. Ordered 4 pizzas including one gluten free to share among 5 adults plus salads and bacon wrapped dates. The dates are amazing. Gladiator's pizza was a favorite - so much flavor! The other three were very good. We ordered a Mushroom Party in a crust girl which wasn't bad but surprisingly tasted better as it got colder. The service was very good. We'll be back and get Gladiator again! The fermented crust is the best crust I've had in a long time.

Best pizza I've had in L.A. since moving here four years ago, and I eat a LOT of pizza! The pepperoni is amazing. The blister-y black sourdough crust is amazing. The Basque cake is amazing. I'm so happy I only live 10 minutes away!!!

No pizza. Manager got angry at us for trying to lighten the mood because he was frustrated. Yelled at the waitress after making her stand and wait to ask a question. I asked if they could not charge us a corkage fee because they didn’t have pizza but we still wanted to get something. He said “no” and laughed. We spent $$60 + on OK salad. I’ll be back again to see if his behavior is a consistent thing. Will report back.
I went back. Manager is the owner. He didn’t apologize. “Explained” to me his point of view but couldn’t apologize. So we ended on a bad note again. I hope he comes around at some point. He told me he was from Chicago and I didn’t understand his dry sense of humor. I’m sure he’s probably heard “go back to Chicago then” a few times. This is LA welcome and try and enjoy instead of bringing your baggage with you. I tipped the waitress from the other night and apologized to her because I let my frustration spill out onto her. Owner said he would not have me back. I’ll see what happens but god forbid I get banned from a pizza joint in LA. Is that a punishment? or a trophy? To be fair pizza is good, staff and atmosphere is great. Owner is a Chicago raised transplant who doesn’t want to be here and should go home.

Good atmosphere and good food. I really enjoyed the pizza and the chicken wings we ordered.

great pizza and the staff is very chill ???? we rolled up after a bike ride around 12 on a saturday and it wasn't crowded or anything, lots of private booths. heads up; as of now (8/22) you need proof of vaccine to dine inside. pictured is the "casanova" and it was fantastic, we also got the "mario + rose" which is one of their best sellers and it was incredible. i feel like you couldn't go wrong with any pizza and i'm excited to try some more
