Sushi was fresh and great. Place is a bit pricey but worth it for the quality of sushi.
18$ minimum per person.
Best sushi place in Little Tokyo. I always get the combintation sushi
Long wait for dine in, but worth it.

Incredible quality. Every piece we ordered was better than the last and the staff was very sweet. Don’t expect anything extravagant as far as environment and setting. It’s very much an industry darling for a reason, no frills just quality. Get your order in and enjoy. Just make sure you arrive early and before you’re starving as it builds a long waitlist, and sometimes wait times provided can be inaccurate. Take the time to check out their menu in the window. Explore local spots in the meantime or take in some characters while you wait.

Really amazing sushi. Get the tuna toro, yellowtail, and sweet shrimp! Will need to go back to try the snow crab. Staff and service was really nice. Great for date night (drinks and dessert spots nearby). Recommend putting your name down and grabbing a drink at Wolf & Crane across the street.

Decent sushi place where the chef make and deliver food to your plate right at the bar. Fresh sushi and friendly staff. Highly recommended

This place is a little gem. Great sushi and rolls and fast service. Sometimes it gets a bit busy of course but good places do that! It goes on my best of LA sushi list!

Great quality sushi that is served by the chef fresh. The dining takes a long time though

Good quality sushi place. Even have some rare type of seafood to try.

Usually I don't expect too much from US sushi joints. At Hama the chaf did not even know what we wanted But then he brought the order and it was the best ootoro I had in the States to date. Other stuff we tried was pretty good too (their fish is superb which plays a huge role in it). Definitely on par with decent places in Japan (more expensive on most of the stuff though, but taking into account airfare savings ... ) still there are couple of tables here too.
Definitely recommend to stop by if you are nearby.

Amazing sushi. Great quality and flavors. Reasonably priced. No cameras or phones allowed I was only able to take a couple of pictures. Lack of non sushi dishes which might be inconvenient. Expect to pay between $30 and $50 before tax & tip for a very nice sushi based meal.
