I always make it a point to stop by this place whenever I am in LA and it never disappoints. I got the beef brisket and flank as the meat is softer and easier to eat with the soup. The soup is super flavourful and pairing it with the radish is amazing! Workers were very attentive, welcoming, and food came out very fast.
Thanks for the delicious meal :) My friends and I all enjoyed it!
Wonderful bone broth soup that's been stewing for countless hours to create a milky white comfort soup. They don't put a lot of meat, but the ban chan of daikon and kimchi are fresh and delicious. The tongue was great but we weren't a huge fan of the mixed which had intestines and lung? We'll have to stick to brisket or flank next time

It's a pretty simple menu. Oxtail soup with 4 different choice of meats. Flank is always my favorite, but the broth is what makes it spectacular! Service is fast and the ladies are always super nice. Enjoy the clean broth and the super tender meat!

Okay, so this place is hidden Jam. (I guess not because everyone knows here in La except me.) The white soup is so flavoured and cleaned. It’s def a pricy but reasonable. The soup taste reminds me of the time when I stayed in Korea.

You know the food has got to be good when there’s essentially only two items on it. The ox bone soup is delicious no matter what protein you decide to get. Add as much green onion, salt, and pepper to enhance the flavors as you wish. Each Tang comes with a bowl of rice to round it out for the perfect, simple, delicious meal. And don’t sleep on the kimchi! They make it in house and it is delicious!!
There’s a small lot with parking behind the store with access to the back entrance of the restaurant

The best shul lung tang. I am sure Koreans would agree with me. The homemade chili sauce is really good to eat with the meat. Try it! ????????

I came here with my husband who really loved this restaurant from 10 years ago. It was really tasty!!!!! Especially kimchi is real korean taste. It made me feel at Korea again. For real.

Well done bone broth. Thought it wouldn’t make us full. But after all the rice and kimchi it was perfect. Gentle sweetness in the broth. I ordered the tripe. Very tender.
Recommend parking in the back. Neighborhood can be worrisome if you park on the street.

Oh my god it’s a hidden gem! It’s authentic Korean beef soup which you can’t find elsewhere. Whenever I visited L.A, this place is always in my list. The soup doesn’t come out with a strong flavor but you can add salt, pepper, chili paste and green onion and believe me it is bomb. The soup is made of beef and you can feel the beef aroma in the soup. Food is great and the service is awesome especially the Korean ladies they are so nice. I am sure to visit again.

We drove from San Diego all the way to San Francisco and stopped LA Ktown for a authentic Korean lunch. We found this famous ox soup place. They only serve one kind of soup and you can choose what meat to add in. My husband chose brisket and I chose intestines, lungs… I missed eating those delicious organs. The soup is white color, the taste is so delicious, flavorful, meaty, creamy and umami. The complimentary kimchi and radish are super good, absolutely like a Korean grandma’s homemade dishes. Also the spicy sauce is awesome, I can just eat it alone for a
