Amazing food! It happened to be my birthday and I asked for a cheesecake and they brought it out with an entire crew singing happy birthday. I strongly suggest this place it may not look good on the outside but the inside is amazing. It’s also a great place to bring you kids! Thank you workers at HMS bounty!!!
The HMS bounty hasn't changed much in the twenty years I've been in LA and I suspect it has been a lot longer than that it's a great neighbor bar/lounge. If you like Taix you'll like it here too. It gets crazy noisy when it's full and it's easier to pay with cash. You can split the check off you're in a group so be ready to Venmo. There is cool banquet seating, a large amount of awesome sailing paraphernalia and a fun crowd to mix with. It's a great place for a pirate themed party. Arrrrr.

A restaurant that feels so secretive that it feels like a place to eat for a mafia boss. Moody light and furniture that comes from early 1900’s for the perfect atmosphere to enjoy some Italian dishes. A chicken Pam goes for 14$ and yet, it feels like a plate for 18$. The vegetables were steamed wonderfully with a moist piece of chicken. However, the chicken wasn’t crisp and the spaghetti was quite bland but, the sauce carried it. Came in a group of 7 and for those that ordered the chicken Alfredo the pasta was thick but, the sauce was said to be lack luster. Even with these faults the food was wonderful and I extremely recommend to come here for dinner 100%!

Best $20 New York steak & potent drinks in this old style ship galley. People are genuinely friendly and 100% down with the grog.

It is our first time eating here because we are looking for steak to eat. The place was really cool and I love the less lighted ambiance. The steak was sumptouos, juicy and tender. ????????That is what we are looking for a steak. I salute the lady servant who serve us, she was so approachable and professional. I met the manager named Ramon and he entertain as well, and he also gave us calamares for free. (Idk why????) maybe because I was filming our entire stay and I was live streaming on facebook. We will definitely go back in there and I will highly recommend.

Not only does this place look really really cool, but the food is great and affordable! Their steaks are so good.
This restaurant has been here since 1930s and it's one of my new favorite restaurants! The servers and the owner are awesome and have a really fun character.

One of the most freakin’ amazing old authentic places in LA. Down to the original cash registers and they still stamp the checks in the register. How cool! Love these places that don’t change. This was a frequent scene for the series Mad Men. Even the food is good. You can’t beat this. And the music! Transport.

Always a fun spot. An unassuming door leads to a bar & kitchen that always delivers maximum value. When other places may be closed for a big holiday, The Bounty abides & sails true. Their holiday menus are hard to beat. This Thanksgiving a complete roast turkey dinner was $13 & change. It included a tomato bisque soup (or choice of salad) & pumpkin pie for dessert. This charming hidden gem is ship shape thanks to it's very nice staff & old school jukebox (excellent variety of tunes). It's also a fun place to catch a game & play CA lotto bingo (never thought I'd play bingo but after a few drinks it was pretty fun). Lastly, there's a $5 whining fee at the bar, so don't do it ;)

The Rib Eye was delicious, the carrots were perfect, and they made a real, tasty chocolate martini (off menu). The staff was lovely and attentive. I really enjoyed my time there.
