Holbox is simply the best restaurant in LA. Yes I said BEST in LA. Out of this world cooking techniques and plating. Best seafood in LA ???? chef Gilberto and staff are so friendly. Regular on Michelin guide & LA Times 101. If heaven was on earth it would be here :)

Delicious meal! Comes with free chips and salsa- there’s also an assortment of additional salsas at the counter that are AMAZING (the roasted habanero was a unanimous stand-out for our crew). Food took a little while to prepare and items came out sporadically, but we were happy to take our time and try all of the salsas.

Taco de Pulpo en Su Tinta - 5/5, incredible texture on the octopus fry, tasty sofrito
Scallop Taco - 4/5, great sear on the scallops, generally milder in flavor
Scallop Aguachile - 4/5, fresh and flavorful

This place was great!

Though I was surprised by how busy it was, but the wait was well worth it and the line does move fast. The restaurant and the entire little shopping court has a wonderful story of being built to liven up the local community.

The food was delicious. The aguachile was SUPER spicy... that took me by surprise. The smoked fish taco wasn't that great tbh... but the baja fish taco was... wish I got a few more of those!

There are other great things on the menu (like the fish stew) that I have to try next time I'm there!

This a great place to get fresh seafood. My second time here and everything was good from the scallop ceviche to the shrimp taco, and of course could not forget the oysters. Their sauces are also great morita being my favorite.

My boyfriend had the smoked kanpachi tostada, and the filete al carbón( Branzino filet)

I had a delicious birthday lunch here. The food was so good, I was almost to the point of tears (and I'm not usually someone who cries about good food). The best fish tacos I've ever had, and I'm from California. This is a must-try for anyone in the area. If I were a USC student, I'd end up with even more student debt eating out here all the time. It's THAT good.

Great experience! We had the 6 course tasting service in Mid-March 2022. Head chef explained each dish and presented the food in a manner that was a positive experience. The freshness of the Yucatan inspired seafood was amazing.

located within a food court, the stall here serves authentic modern Mexican seafood cuisine. the fish tacos and the ceviche were both fresh, but the best was the hot sauces available.

This little fast food place is part of the Michelin guide and it really deserves to be! The food was extremely delicious and they use high quality ingredients for sure! The prices are quite expensive for sure but it’s so worth it! The octopus taco was extremely good and I have never had that combination before.

Holbox has been selected as Michelin. You can eat Mexican food using fresh seafood. Especially aguachile was delicious. The octopus tacos were also very delicious. I ate Mexican with such fresh seafood for the first time in Los Angeles. No liquor was served.
