When I first visited the place I thought it was like every other Chinese food restaurant, and it was except for the fact that they pile on the food in the container! Now it's the only spot I got to when I want good American Chinese food. It's worth the $7.89 they charge for the plate. One plate feeds two people!

They are off sometimes, but for the most part, they are the best in the mid city for Chinese food.

Amazing comfort food! By far the best Americanized Chinese food that I’ve ever had. The red barbecue pork is ???????????? and the lo mein was great.

A little overrated. Chicken had a funny taste and after taste to it and the noodles (both) I had were flavorless.

After visiting the Science Center we looked for Chinese near by and the good reviews is why we came. It didn't disappoint! BBQ Pork brought back old school memories, fried rice was great, kids loved the orange chicken. It was not dry, old food.

Beware Panda Express there is a new wave of Chinese Fast Food. Kay Kay's Cafeteria style set up allows for fast and efficient order taking. The volume of people coming in to order is pretty high, in turn the food is always fresh. A 2 entree combo is $7.50. one entree combo $5.65. Bang for your buck

Food is unimaginative and plain. I would recommend you take your hard-earned dollars to a better place. Ingredients don't seem fresh, and the staff is not very helpful nor generous with the condiments. Wait is long for sub-par Chinese food. Do yourself a favor & go to a better restaurant.

This place is great! Never had an issue buying here for the past 5 years. They're kind people and funny too! The food is great too! One of the few places where they don't include vegetables on fried rice.

I came based on the reviews and you do get a lot of food for a very cheap price! $11 for two combo plates! The food was tasty. I really liked the chow mein. It taste similar to Chinese that you would find in your local mall. One of my only complaints is the area is very run down and my husband and I both got stomach aches later that day. We also had homeless knocking on our window at the nearby street light (maybe that’s a normal thing in LA? Lol) but we weren’t used to that. The parking lot gets pretty busy! The inside of the restaurant wasn’t very clean but you can’t expect too much for such a affordable bite to eat. I would eat here again but I wouldn’t go out of my way next time to eat here. If you’re in the area on a budget and you’re craving Chinese, sure stop by!

I love this place, it's a go to place when we have family gatherings or if u just feel like having a good hardy meal. The amount of food u get for the price u don't get at any other Chinese food spot. All the employees are very nice & friendly they keep the counters clean & the good thing is that they have an open view to the kitchen so u can see what the cooks are doing, I have never had an issue with this place I highly recommend it.
