We almost would have missed this - kind of hole in the wall on the upper floor of the shopping plaza. I'm so glad we didn't! The food was fantastic, with way bigger portions than I expected for a lunch special. The service was really prompt and very friendly. Comfortable spot with fans running to help with the heat - it made for a nice break from walking around in the sun

Ordering any of the shrimp items would be a bad idea. They are basically flavorless except for the flavor of age. The rest of the food was ok. The service is questionable but that is part of the Korean restaurant experience.

Absolutely delicious and perfectly made food you won't feel intimidated by the menu or price for the amount of food and quality you get here especially with the nice area and shops this BBQ is the perfect choice for dinner just make sure to be patient cause the flavors brought to you is worth the wait

Food is amazing here !! Make sure you get teriyaki on the side. Sake sub par and the service is worse. I would give 5 stars if service was better overall great experience .
Pro Tip: Their service is so bad so don’t feel guilty to come in and be a bit more assertive on how you order and ask for everything upfront. Otherwise you’ll wave them down for like 10min each time.

I happened to be in DTLA for business yesterday and wanted to eat here since I haven't eaten here since I retired in 2017 and I'm sure glad nothing has changed. I had frequented this place since 2002 and it was always a go-to place for lunch when I was at work. And going yesterday, ordering some of the same items I used to, and finding out that it was just a delicious as I remember was a happy and welcome flashback to a lot of fond memories. I'll definitely be back soon on the near future knowing that this place is still as good as ever.

First time trying this place
The food was great
But customer service is super bad, the server witch happens to be the owner comes to us to take our orders with this word “YES” without even asking if we were ready to order.
But definitely what I disliked the most was the way he treats his employees screaming at them.
I hope they get a good tip because they deserve it, they work hard back there to bring the food out fast.
Food was good but I won’t come back
