It won't take you to Paris, but it's the closest you can get to French art of pastry you can get in LA????
Great plain croissants, eclairs, quiche, tarts????
I felt transported back to Paris as soon as I walked in. Their almond croissant is the best I’ve had in LA and the baguettes are all you could ever want. They had some seating inside and out if you want to sit around and eat what you’ve purchased.

The chocolate almond croissant was something I want to eat daily for the rest of my life,so delicious. The baguette was great too. The woman was cool. You need to get there early if you want a baguette,I was there around 11 and got the last baguette. I will sure go back when I'm around.

La Chouquette is without a doubt the closest you can get to France. I’m French and this is the best pastries you can find in LA!

The absolute best chocolate croissant I’ve had in years. I kept missing them being open because I get snacky in the late afternoon, but glad I didn’t miss them this time:) Service was lovely, too.

This pastry shop transported me with their French deliciousness. Oozing with passion, from the presentation of their store to the kind and devoted workers, this place has left a mark. I will be back.
The quality ingredients (many, if not all, I believe imported) under the masterful skill of their workers had me greedily wanting more (and I got two pastries, a baguette, and coffee). Selflessly I shared with my roommate and WOW, all of our senses were engaged and satisfied. We were still savoring the experience long after consuming these luxurious pleasures.

I think they’re expensive for what they sell compared to similar places. They also stopped making one of the only things that made them truly different from other French patisseries or bakeries, which was an almost “pizza”-like stuffed croissant. So much better than it sounds. And a few times we’ve visited my partner has thought the employees weren’t nice. Which I found hard to disagree with. But if you’re a Francophile and you just really need a croissant or pastry, this is a solid option, still.

This was totally unexpected, but, this place has the best vanilla latte I’ve ever had, hands down. Everything I’ve eaten has been phenomenal as well. I LOVED the almond croissant.

Oh, how I love La Chouquette! As someone who cannot eat gluten, finding this restaurant was a game changer for me. Gluten-free chouqettes and eclairs that don’t taste like cardboard. What a miracle. I’d eat here every day if I could!
