Waited almost 45 minutes for my food and I really didn’t understand why. It was fully staffed and wasn’t busy. We did hear lots of laughter in the back so I’m assuming it had to do with the long wait. Will not come back again
I had to delete my previous comment and came back to re-post again because my review was not being visible to the public. How do I know? Because I have roommates who have also posted on this place and they won’t see my review! Anyway, be aware of this place…they will steal the last cent you got in your pocket! I came to this place just to find out that they took the tamales out of their menu, seriously? And they charged me the 3% they charged for paying with a card, even though I paid cash. They knew I paid cash cause the “lady” asked me when I was about to pay if I’d be paying with card or cash. Well, she still charged me the 3%
Bola de sinverguenzas!

Love the food, I get to enjoy the patio during my lunch breaks. and I get to cool off before I sit in traffic to drive home. The Pupusas and Yuca frita are the best. I highly recommend this place.

What happened? Before the pandemic this was such a good spot and I would go with family and friends to this sit down restaurant. And now, you order at the counter and they serve your food in to go containers, you pick out your table and the waitresses were rude. I grew up coming here and I was so disappointed on what this place has become. I dont understand if they have new management or something but this place has completely lost its touch.

Amazing pupusas. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant that it speaks to the younger generation. The question pupusas had Amazing taste and flavor and my whole family agrees. Hope this place keeps on serving these things.

Honestly really disappointed with how this small negocio turned out after the pandemic. First time returning since and was surprised to see the state of it. I really hope the best for them and hope they receive the support they’re searching for but shooting your prices through the roof and serving everything in disposable containers is not the way to go. As well as having to order your entire meal at the front desk before sitting down. Genuinely disappointed in how gentrification has affected and highly influenced this business. The food never stopped being amazing!!! But just sad how everything turned out :/

I have heard many great things about this place but sadly I was very disappointed. At first I thought it was a great deal for a pupusa to cost $3.50 but it was not worth it. Super greasy and no flavor. There enchiladas are not good either.

Well'p what can I say, the closest thing i had the opportunity to taste authentic Popusas where from my kids Babysitter who is native to El Salvador, she would make us popusas, so with that said, these popusas have that similar taste and feel of what I loved the moment I tasted popusas, the curtido is on point, fresh ,crisp and tangy, the salsa just as good with the right amount of spices added into it, had some chicken nachos yeah maybe not a salvadorian dish but they looked delicious and they WERE! here are some shots we took. feel free to check out my page on Instagram @pcfabrications ????????????????????

Pupusas are good and tasty $3.50 each kinda small. I got an order of fried plantain. Those are over priced $8 with only 8 little pieces and some fried beans. The corn tamales are not good to be honest, hard and no flavor. Everything seems over priced.

We had dinner in this busy restaurant on a hot Friday evening. The portions were bigger than expected, but many items did not look and taste fresh. I ordered chile relleno, which was very oily and tasted like it was made a day ago and just warmed up. The rice on the side was of low quality and the bean sauce looked like something straight out of a can. As European we are used to a diffent type of Mexican cuisine. They often have drink specials, which might attractive for others, who drink alcohol. Prepare to bring cash, there is extra charge on cards.
