Amazing owner. Amazing food. Coming from a fellow Peruvian the lomo saltado was delicious. Filet mignon was served with it.
This Hidden gem has some of the best recipes in downtown LA, might get a little pricey but remember , you get what you pay for, and this place is definitely worth it!

Amazing place. They have good breakfast. Good Salsas. Good drink options. Their strawberry and lemon aid was really good. One of the last places I went to with my fionce.

I ordered takeout here since my go-to Peruvian spot “Rikas” was closed. I was very disappointed. The chicken chaufa rice was mushy and the green sauce tasted like green pepper. I prefer Rikas. Their rice is perfectly cooked and sauce is perfect blend of spicy and flavor.

It’s a must-visit if you’re in the Fashion District of DTLA. We had the Lomo Saltado and it was unbelievable. The team working at the restaurant was so kind and welcoming - it’s exactly the type of place you want to support. Great food, great people. We can’t wait to visit again.

There's a reason why this place has been around for 37 years. They have excellent mexican food and tacos. They have excellent Peruvian food, including Lomo Saltado (Filet Mignon), Ceviche, and Aji de Gallina (chicken in a yellow cream sauce). The owner is always there and super hospitable. Not cheap, and not fast food, but very good quality and reasonably priced.

Simply the best Chaufa we have ever tasted! Juan the owner is focused on quality ingredients. Authentic and delicious. Humble atmosphere. If you are going to an event nearby, this is a must visit...

The owner who greeted me was really nice and the lomo saltado is the best I’ve ever had - even in Peru! Highly recommended!

Best Peruvian food I've ever tried; right in DTLA! I just had to come & rave about this place. The quality of meat is incredible and the amount of food you get for the price is unbelievable. Did some shopping in the fashion district and found this gem right after... I'll be back! (Hint: get the lomo saltado)
