the portion for the price is reasonable. i had the jerk chicken plate. the chicken was seasoned nicely. the beans & rice was ok. the plantains were fried perfectly. i would visit again to try another dish.
Man, I got oxtails, curry chicken, cabbage, dirty rice and a whole lot more. The service was quick( cause I ordered a lot of food)clean and the staff very helpful.I will be going back there whenever I'm in the mood for some West Indian food.I recommend them highly.

First of the food is amazing. We are Jamaicans the food tastes authentic. Carol was awesome haven't had service like hers in forever. She was attentive and it felt like being served at my grandmothers house.. The rice and peas are excellent and have a coconut flavor. This is my dads favorite Jamaican restaurant soon as he would come from Jamaica this would be one of his 1st stops.

Jucey! What has happened to your plates!!? I have been coming there since early 2000’s, referred a lot of people …and the last several times I have been there my curry goat plates have been 1/2 bone and grissel and skimpy on the peas and rice! I was there this Saturday 5/14/22 and this happened again! I ordered a large curry goat and at first glance it was good, then moving food around to eat bone after bone… and even LESS peas and rice than before! I also got a big lump of plantains! I was there for Mother’s Day and ordered oxtail which was very good and good amount of food …! Carol is the best and so kind listening to all the complaints of the way food is prepared or the orders are wrong! What can you do about this! The food itself is FABULOUS that hasn’t changed… but the amount of food and the amount of the bones are not good. I don’t want to find another place but the is becoming very frustrating!

Way overpriced for the food I received. I bought jerk chicken lunch with a soda for 21.50 and I'm very disappointed - still and hungry. My plate had a drumstick head and about 3 pieces of a chopped thigh . There was virtually no meat on my plate but there was a lot of rice! . I will never go back ; in fact , I'm done with Caribbean restaurants, they serve cheap food ( rice ,cabbage and bananas ) and then charge inflated prices for 3 - world food. I paid $20 and barely got a piece of chicken . NEVER AGAIN .

I ordered the ox tail and it was flavorless and the rice was mushy. Won’t be ordering from here again

The people there are nice. However, I came for food and the food was bland. I was definitely disappointed. I ordered curry chicken, the gravy and chicken was watery and bland as were the greens. I was in the area for my lunch break, I did not realize Wii Jamin was so close I should’ve went there. I eat Jamaican food all the time and this is actually probably the worse I’ve ever had.

The customer service was ok... the food was ok... not bad at all... just not as flavorful as I expected... the ambiance was ok... the restaurant was very clean. Not sure why the ratings were so high... it could be because there is not much competition in Jamaican cuisine around... so the 1 eyed man is king. My experience wasn't bad at all... just every average. I may try it again.

Boy did I enjoy my self. The food was amazing and fresh and the spices were perfect. Everything was tasty nothing out of place. Word of advice make sure you know your order and call in advance so your in and out. Parking can be pretty tough.
