It was a good place for Italian foods. We tried egg baked pizza, Chicken parmesan and Calzone all were good but the creamy spinach as a appetizer was one of the best spinach things that I have ever tried. The price was really reasonable. It’s the place that I want to go another time to try Some Pastas.
Good vibes, great food and excellent service. We had their brussel sprouts, burrata, cacio e pepe, and a couple of pies and everything was delicious. They have a full bar and an extensive wine menu too. Highly recommend.

Went with a reservation on a Friday night and it was quite busy, but we got seated at a reasonable time. Host recommended the Brussels sprouts and they were amazing!!! I think the best we’ve ever had. We also got the octopus which was extremely chewy and came on almost burnt potatoes. Rigatoni bolognese was solid. Definitely worth the trip just for the Brussels and some cocktails, vibe was nice too

We got so lucky and snapped up a table as they were opening on a Saturday. The food here was amazing, the servers were so nice and they even helped us pick out dishes. I can't stress enough how great this place is.

Great experience at Osteria La Buca. Reservations highly recommended, I'm not sure they accept walk ins, they were very busy for Saturday night. We were asked to show our Covid vaccination card before entering and then were promptly seated. Great wine list and shareable options! The house bread was so fragrant. We opted for the carbonara and it did not disappoint! Tiramisu for desert was perfect, airy and not too sweet!

I just ate the most delicious spaghetti everrrr from here! Like seriously rivals the east coast and Europe
The Nero spaghetti is this spicy seafood red sauce spaghetti, usually with clams, squid and shrimp but I got it with the shrimp only and omg was it the best I've had in such a long time!!
Will be coming back regularly for this now
And also got as spicy margarita which was very simple yet strong and a nice twist on a classic lol
I absolutely love the atmosphere here, very dark low lighting
With loud music and right advice the bar seems to be a super cool upstairs seating area
And even though masks are back on to be seated, the bar is still open!
Not to mention my bartender was way awesome!! Overall 10/10 for sure

Is there a better feeling that randomly finding a gem of a restaurant? We stopped there, not impressed by the front windows and two tiny red tables on the sidewalk, like "whatever, we're hungry". And what a pleasant surprise! The interior is simple, but airy and welcoming. The staff is super friendly. Right away, they gave us this crispy loaf of homemade sour bread that we dipped with joy in a herbal olive oil. While waiting for our food, we kept glancing with envy at the other tables: fuming pizzas, creamy pasta, appetizing salads... The arancini were a metaphor of Italian food: they looked simple but a lot of love and talent went into making them. The buratta was the best I had in a long time - both creamy and fibrous, almost like stracciatella, paired with green pistachios, bitter mesclun, and candied kumquats. Their surprising take on the Cesar salad, with farro and aragula, was a success. I'm going back soon.

Osteria La Buca is one of my favorite restaurants in all of LA! Customer service is excellent, Mathew is incredible!! The Short Rib Ravioli is absolutely otherworldly! ???? Reminds me of New York pasta, the flavor - sauce - short rib is all the perfect ratio, every single bite is a bite of heaven! You cannot go wrong with this dish. The bread that comes with it is absolutely delicious as well! I’ve also had their carbonara which is good but the Short Rib Ravioli is my go to!! ???? Thank you Osteria for always exceeding my expectations!

The food was lost in translation. We live a 4 minute drive away from the restaurant and everything was cold by the time it was delivered. The pizza tasted like cardboard. The meatballs were too salty to eat. $20 for the most pathetic, congealed portion of ravioli I’ve ever seen. I was so surprised and thought food was missing so I called the restaurant - someone very polite picked up and mentioned that he typically warns people in advance of the tiny portions....if enough people have complained about this, time to either change the portion or the price. The brussel sprouts were the only highlight, but not worth the overall meal. Wanted to order in a nice dinner for a special occasion, and totally regret it. If the quality of the delivery is going to be markedly lower than the quality of dine-in then don’t deliver.

This is a place where you would hardly notice from passing by Melrose ave everyday. However! Once you set your foot into the restaurant, it is a whole new atmosphere. Buca means little corner, it provides a home town feeling. You can call it hipster if you want, but it really is a comfortable place for a fine meal with really reasonable price, I mean REALLY.
The ingredients that goes into the dish are prepare fresh everyday, best part is farm to table! Can't beat a freshly harvest ingredients.
I really like how you are getting serve here, all their servers are really friendly.
The food! Finally... it's so good. You can really taste the individual ingredients that went into the dish. No crazy complicated dish. Just simple straight forward, no bs.
Totally my type of food, "simple food, big flavor."
