Over priced and mediocre restaurant. Tacos are tiny for $8. Cocktails are nothing special for $15. Avoid this place if you can.
Oh can't forget they are another business taking advantage and keeping their profits high for themselves while not providing fair pay and benefits for their hardworking employees by making the consumer pay extra on top of the tip. This is how lots of places are losing business. Def not coming back to this place, can't even blame that on inflation they have always been overpriced. $8 for any Taco is ABSURD.
Modern Mexican food in a hip ambiance ???? service was a little bit slow but food and drinks were good overall- Bluefin tuna tostada was very well seasoned and Al pastor taco was absolutely delicious!
Personally I don’t take cilantro but apparently it was here and there everywhere so that was my challenge point tho ????

Great top shelf margaritas and the appetizers are unique, fresh, and zesty. I also got the Birria tacos that were very good, but I’d say local taco trucks have slightly more “umph” in their Birria sauce. The meat and taco shells were prime. This is a great casual date spot!

Petty Cash is a hidden gem that my friend and I randomly stumbled into.. and I’m so glad we did. The service was outstanding. Everyone was so attentive. As soon as my water reached the bottom of my cup, someone was there to refill it. Bartender Allen was the absolute best ! He didnt miss one detail and his knowledge of liquor is out of this world. The drinks were delicious and well balanced. Allen and his fellow bartender Early treated us like dear old friends. We will definitely be back for the good vibes ! Oh and besides the amazing service , the tacos were all really, really good! I don’t play about my tacos, I promise. Pair that with good music ( a mix of hip hop and other pop) , an extensive tequila selection, and the NBA playoffs playing on the multiple tv screens, this bar ticks every box.

Fun spot, but bulk of dishes were too deep fried for this reviewer - even though they do look beautiful. No salad, burrito or protein centric options available.
My table tried a quesadilla, the potato dish, the guacamole and the Cauliflower Nachos. Each was quite greasy with minimal veggies and protein included in the dish.
My two girlfriends loved the spot though -- so could be a good fit, depending on your grease tolerance.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Petty Cash! The energy of the restaurant reflected the buzz of West Hollywood, the food was an elevated take on your classic Mexican fare, and the staff was on their A game. I also want to mention that the restaurant manager, Shaina, does an impeccable job being hands on with patrons while overseeing the entire establishment. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

The guacamole is by far the best item I ordered. It tasted very fresh and was a decent quantity. We ate every bite, before we could snap a photo! The Zuchinni Blossom Quesadilla appeared and tasted more like a pizza than an actual quesadilla. It was good but not great. My date ordered the Chimichanga and he found it to be "okay". The Pineapple Habanero cocktail was extremely tasty, especially if you are in to spicy/smokey cocktails but I was disappointed that it's alcohol potency was not stronger. I would go back for the guacamole and perhaps a different drink selection.

Petty Cash is probably on my list of top 5 Mexican restaurants in the area. I’ve always had a great time and enjoyed the food on all my visits. The chips are always crispy and fresh. Salsa and guac are always on point. On my most recent visit, we had the Chimichanga and Adobada Quesadilla and Charcoal Grill Octopus. The quesadilla is to die for, and I highly recommend ordering this to start. Loved the Chimichanga as well. Every bite of dinner was fantastic. The Octopus taco was good, but just not a whole lot of flavor.
Service was fast and friendly. Parking in the area is terrible and valet parking is pricy. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to find metered parking. It’s likely that you’ll be stuck with valet if you are doing dinner here. The lost star is for the pricy valet parking ☹

I really enjoyed the unique flavors and combinations at this place! The food was definitely solid. The service was a little slow on the night we visited, but it was a pleasant experience nonetheless. The taco prices are a smidge high, even considering the area, but the food was definitely good.

Super hip and easygoing atmosphere with friendly staff and great food. It’s got it all. As an added bonus, they have made a good adjustment to the COVID situation. I strongly recommend the cauliflower nachos as a starter — So good! Their fish tacos (baha fish and octopus) were stars too!
