This is NOT a safe place to eat if you have a gluten allergy. They offer gluten free pizza, but the staff knows nothing about it. I asked the waitress if they had any gluten free beer and she told me they all were, which was simply not true. Then I ordered a gluten free dessert, they didn’t have it and the waitress brought me another one with gluten in it. They charged me for it, and although I gave it back they never returned my money. Wrote them an email explaining this and had no answer. Poor service

Freaking amazing food. Ordered from Door Dash, still got here hot and cheesy. Sorry the picture fails to show that. We were starving to try REAL non-greasy pizza for once and we just snatched some slices. Its crazy, never tried this type of pizza and while I ate two slices I felt fine. Not hungry, not full, just fine and I did not feel gross, that's how I feel with fast paced pizza, not gonna name any names. I ordered their cheese sticks with peperroni, also amazing. Ordered their tiramisu, incredible.

Just eat here guys, you will not regret it.

(Side note: Their large size is no joke, its massive.)

If you live close enough like walking distance, I'd recommend trying this place out because the pizza here is quite delicious. However, if you drive here, good luck finding street parking because there's no parking lot here. I visited here on my way back home because I was craving pizza and found it out Yelp. I honestly don't remember what I ordered because I came here back in March and didn't have time to write a review until now. What I do remember is that everything was delicious, especially the fact that the pizza is thin crust and cooke in a stone oven.

Amazing pizza and salad, prices went up a little like everywhere else, parking is challenging . But it’s worth it, great customer service

Shamus and Anelcy make this pizza/beer spot feel like home away from home! I highly recommend dropping in for gluten free LA BBQ ‘zza as it’s scrumptious and irresistibly delicious or great deals on beer! Don’t be the last to know. Park on the street, if possible. If not, low cost lots are nearby. Enjoy!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The pizzas were crunchy and well baked.
Cinque cento was good , but mozzarella cheese was too cold. Prosciutto e' rucola I didnt like because of the mushrooms and truffle oil combination.
La'americana piccante was delicious.

I order from here often as I live very close so I have had the opportunity to try it on many occasions and each time it is well cooked and yummy. Consistency is important to me and in my experience they consistently get my order right, it's fast, and tastes good so it's always a good option for me when I feel like grabbing some pizza, but don't feel like braving the long lines at some other spots like Pizzanista. Also they're more custom pizza sizes (think slightly bigger Blaze or Pieology pizza sizes vs the large NY pies so I would recommend a pie per person.

I would recommend to anyone looking for a good pie or a nice casual meal. Everyone has been polite to me so far as well which is always an important element to any restaurant.

I was under the impression that a Pizza Margherita was typical made with San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, * fresh basil *. Seems like the basil didn’t make it which also makes the pizza the Margherita pizza.

Nether-the-less, great texture, great flavors and reminded me of what I grew up eating from my Nonna.

Will give it another shot, but please remember the key ingredient this time ????????????

Pizza Sociale is a neopolitan style pizza. Super fresh ingredients. Great menu with salads, calzones and desserts. Thorough drink menu.

I recommend the very humble but fantastic sociale bread, for an appetizer or order it to-go and make it a part of your dinner meal plan. It is a naked pizza (dough) with olive oil, salt and other seasonings. Comes with tomato sauce on the side. I imagine this could be awarded with as foodie version of crack. I have had more than my share of the bread... But none of the other and no I don't want to. Pizzas are all made with top quality fresh ingredients.

Parking available in a limited number on a consistently busy street. But there is a little structure available. The entrance from alley or the street east of location, I have parked in the alley for quick pickups without issue. It was covid and nighttime, so caution, it's not a legal designated spot. The structure, I'm not quite sure if it's meant for that reason but I go at night and no one's ever bothered me if I had to park there for a couple minutes.

Outdoor dining is back on like Donkey Kong! OR....
Order pick up or local delivery. One day the space inside will be usable for the indoor experience.

The crew working here is good. They put forth a honest effort to do the best they can for the customer. The owner Carmela is outstandingly awesome and very kind. She has worked hard to keep this place thriving during Covid and gives AF about her business, employees and customers.

I had a minor issue with an order, wrote a comment online from the site. This was NYE night. I got a phone call from Carmela. She offered to correct it and then some, all within 2 minutes of sending. Wow.

Try this place. Support this local business. It is a place doing everything right. And it is delicious. Nom Nom

Soap box time: This is how it should be done customers. Don't go write a bad post on Yelp or Google if you had a bad experience. Whether it's in the moment or after you've left, give a call or a shout out to the manager in some form and let them know what your experience was. They're not often informed of every detail
For a variety of reasons. If you have an idea of how you'd like to see your situation fixed, suggest it to them. They might accept it or they might make a counter offer oe they might tell you sorry but thanks for keeping them in the loop. If at that point you're not satisfied with the response in a reasonable manner it'll be okay to Post online so the other people can understand that you put for us all the efforts possible to give a good honest fair review of that company.
