Est 1991 full bar 23 beers for n tap
Bottled beer 120 whiskies Comfort Food
Pretty cool spot. Plenty of different kind of draft beers and hard alcohol selection. Bartender was very on top of everything. From what I could gather it’s pretty much a mix match of different people everyday that come here. I would come back. Kitchen closes at 10pm so wasn’t able to try any food but the bartender was gracious enough to bring us complimentary chips and salsa that were very good.

Great local dive bar with great bar style food and great service. Lots of large windows that they open during warmer days that allows fresh air and sunshine in, making it a great place to stop for a drink and bit to eat while walking down melrose ave without breaking the bank!

Amazing divey feel, great liquor selection, craft and regular beers. Let's talk about staff, Alyssa. Amazing, observant, savvy and attentive. The whole show. I would come back just to hang with her (no offense to Brian). I will be back! (But may call ahead to make sure she's on) lol.

Great local bar with surprisingly extensive menu - lots of apps, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, nachos, and more. Will definitely visit again.

So happy I finally came to Snake Pit Alehouse Whiskey Bar & Kitchen! This was my first time coming here.. When I got here the line was out the door but it wasn't extremely long. It was also moving at a fast pace so that was great. They have a lot of small menus right near the entrance which is nice so you have an idea of what to order.

A very chill place. The bartender is really nice and holds up a good conversation. Good selection of default music on the jukebox so I felt like I didn't need to add my own money. Parking is extremely limited though.

This spot was actually pretty dope. Chill bartender and few servers that we saw. Drinks were actually pretty great and reasonably priced. Ended up ordering some pub food and it was good, as expected. Would definitely stop here again on our pass through

We were looking for a place to go for happy hour and came across Snake Pit. The atmosphere was so relaxing. The bartender was a sweetheart. She apologized for taking a little while to get our drinks, but was working the bar by herself so I give her a lot of credit. The happy hour prices were pretty great. $7.50 for well drinks, $8.50 for the nachos. I highly recommend trying the nachos.
