Great sushi and the deep fried tofu dish is amazing. It is slightly expensive (hence the 4 star) for what you get but its it's really tasty. Karage is great too and they have a decent selection of sake.

Ordered DoorDash. Since I can't eat raw fish at the moment, I'm not judging the sushi at all. I ordered shiitake miso soup it was extremely salty. I literally had to add boiled water to it to be able to eat it. Also ordered shrimp shumai ( not only was the portion tiny, but overall it was nasty.) There was nothing satisfactory or appealing about that dish. Lastly, the eggplant. It was pretty good especially in comparison to other stuff, but it definitely needed something crunchy to go with it. Fatty eggplant by itself is too much. I spent a little over $50 and it was a complete waste of money.

After reading rave reviews I wanted to give this neighbor place a try. What a disappointment!
Unless you enjoy rude, half-fresh, and expensive, there are much better places around.

Best! now that sushi gen in little tokyo is not serving inside, this is clearly the best authentic Japanese sushi experience in LA.

Absolutely fantastic sushi. My wife and I had omakase sushi and every bite was amazing. The quality of the fish and the care in preparation are equivalent to much higher priced restaurants. This was by far the best value for the money as the cost was less than half of other omakase experiences I have had. I highly recommend Soregashi to anyone who enjoys truly authentic sushi.

I'm Japanese and tried several Sushi restaurants recommended by Japanese friends. And this is the best so far in my opinion!
Fresh and beautifully prepared fish were so delicious!!!
I'll definitely recommend my friends!
