Omg. I have passed this place a few times but never really given it a look. I walked in today and the ambiance is such a cool vibe. My girlfriend got this fettuccini garlic dish and it was AMAZING.... ???? 10/10 excited to come back. Super cool and friendly staff as well. Large portions.
I got the vegetable gumbo soup. It was like food my grandma made. So very good but pricey. Probably because it's in the heart of LA and the overhead is high. But the food is ????. Nice family business too. Don't let the plain/minimal decor scare you. All the glory is in the food. They know how to make a Roux! I will be back!

Absolutely life changing food! I got the creole pasta and my boyfriend got the seafood gumbo. They packed everything well! This is food that tastes as good as it looks and more. The intense flavors plus the fact that they give plenty of seafood and protein, makes it all the better. If you want food that makes you rethink life, this is it!

Delicious food, great staff. The pasta was excellent. It was so much food couldn't eat it all.

Food was above average. Wife got the Creole pasta and shrimp and grits which both plates were pretty good. I got the red snapper which just okay, same with the Mac and cheese and red beans and rice. Overall, service was great and the family really wanted to support black business.
My only negative is the 18% service charge for ordering 4+ items, which is pretty ridiculous. I know times are hard but this add-on fee seems like overkill.

Everything was very delicious! ???? We had the fried pickles and corn bread to start us off followed by the catfish creole that melts in your mouth and the seafood gumbo loaded with meats with a side of candied yams! For dessert we decided on peach beignets filled with cobbler. Highly recommend! ????????

First time visiting this location. Staff was so sweet and attentive. We even had a beautiful little girl that brought us our cups of ice and wanted to know if we needed anything. I can see when they are busy this might be a spot to pick up a Togo order. Seating is limited. Had the shrimp-n-grits, seafood gumbo, and jalapeño shrimp (I will bring my own Louisiana hot sauce next time). All the dishes are fresh and made to order and we had no problem waiting since the music hyped us up for the food. Will come back to order a shrimp poboy.
If you are looking for seafood dishes that are filling, then this is your spot. Come out and support this family business!

Food was delicious, staff was super friendly, Kayla took great care of us! Soft shell crab could've been done a little better.

Omg they are so good. I Drove an hour to come try this spot. And I’m glad I did. I had the creole pasta with a side of French bread. Also seafood gumbo and there chicken wings. Everything was so tasty and very seasoned. I’m just moving from the south and it’s hard to find a good restaurant who season’s food. I definitely will be back. Also nice and friendly customer service. The young man was very helpful and patient when ordering our food.

The food is delicious! I always get the seafood pasta and my partner always gets the veggie gumbo, the only other place she can find good veggie combo is in New Orleans! Definitely recommend this place to all!
