We sat at the sushi bar and told the chef chef he has full control over our menu. We had a variety of different things that we would have never ordered ever ordered. It was great. Is the wait time sucked be ready to spend at least list 250 bucks is bucks minimum or a couple.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday: arrived 15 minutes before opening and was the third party in line, which is not bad considering lines have been much longer in the past. Great quality sushi with amazing lunch prices. We got the eel rice bowl, sashimi platter and uni sushi. All were delicious!

Continuing the series of really high quality sushi that doesn’t break the bank ???? Finally made it back to this restaurant after hearing such great reviews about it. The wait time on a Wednesday night was around 1 hr 15 mins but it was worth the wait.
????Ordered:
1. (2) Sashimi dinners (includes side of tempura) with platter of fresh fish: bluefin tuna, yellowtail, otoro, cooked salmon, spicy tuna, smoked tuna, squid, and halibut
The sashimi dinner plate has generous portions and I was so full I couldn’t finish the whole thing which is rare ???? The fish was really high quality esp at this price point & I thoroughly enjoyed each part of this dish. Would probably get the sashimi platter without the tempura next time since it was so filling!

Sashimi Deluxe ($48) is very fresh, good quality, delicious, and big portion for me! It can be shared by 2 people. I’d definitely recommend this! The scallop sushi is fresh and very tasty. The tempura comes with salmon dinner and the miso soup is good as well! Service is very good even though they were very busy.

Unfortunately this place doesn’t take reservations, so we had to wait in line early. But once they open, we get seated, order, eat, in and out in a jiffy! Sushi is pretty decent here. Be sure to get your ticket validated. It’s $4 with validation

I'm up for a long drive and waiting for 30+ minutes just to have some sashimi at Sushi Gen.
Their sushi is the best I've tried and not to mention their reasonable price.
I always get sashimi lunch whenever I visit since it's the best deal from the menu.
(The picture is something different though.)

Has sushi ever made you cry? Has SUSHI led you to canceling your evening plans in favor of MORE sushi? AHHHHH!!!???!?! The quality of the fish was unmatched. I ordered: fatty salmon, uni, hand rolls, scallop, and others with none of them being remotely close to subpar. You can tell that the chefs love they're craft as they prepare the sushi in front of you. All I can really say is- thank you! Thank you for the love and experience you bring to this beautiful city. Be expected to drop some dough. A meal between two came out to 120 and we weren't even full.

We came at 6pm on a Friday and had no waiting time. Plenty of tables available until 8pm. We ordered the Sashimi Deluxe and we’re impressed by the big portions and quality of the fish. Fresh and nice cuts. A wide variety of fish, the platter variates depending on what’s fresh and available on the fish market. Excellent service and quite nice ambience for a date. We spent $100 for the Sashimi Deluxe, 2 appetizers and 2 green teas. The green teas are bottomless, $1.50 per each. The tempura was ok, could be lighter and crispier but had good flavor to it.

A bit of a wait for lunch (went on a Tuesday, expect 30-50 min) Could have not been more impressed by the freshness and delicious nature of everything prepared. Got the Sashimi Deluxe and Sashimi lunch. The Sashimi Deluxe was more than enough for two people. Contained an assortment of sashimi. 10/10 in quality and quantity. Can't wait to come back as soon as I can.

Really, really great sushi. Had to wait about 40 minutes, but it was worth it. Everything was very fresh, and service was quick.
My only complaint was that my beef teriyaki was slightly tougher than expected, but that's on me for not going for the restaurant's specialties.
