Love the Nama Chirashi box from them! They deserve more credit for making such tasty and gorgeous chirashi boxes! Can't wait to try their other products in the near future!

Sushi is quite good. But god almighty! Our experience was seriously dampened by two loud-mouthed, wine-braggers who would not shut up. It’s a small room people - please keep that in mind. My only complaint about the restaurant is the beverage offerings are quite limited. Best to bring your own.

good restaurant overall. One thing that really upsets me was that they have a seat facing the wall, which I think should never exist in a high-end omakase sushi bar.

Excellent food handling and ambiance. Just one of the top sushi Omakase place to go in LA. Traditional, imported seafood, just like other overpriced sushi place in the states. Seriously, with half of this price you can have better Omakase in Asian. Why Japanese food has to be so overpriced other than French or Italian restaurants? Nothing to complain, food and service is great. Just won’t be back for casual eating, doesn’t have the money value.

Master Sushi Chef Yoshi-san has created something special in a competitive LA Omakase realm. That has the potential to Trump all other competitors, but not quite there yet.

Pros:
Easy Adjoined Parking structure ($6 cash)
1 dinning session per working day means no waiting and eccentric staff.
Corkage option available (BYOB $50 fee)
Extremely generous portions.

Cons:
Currently $300 per person (tax and gratuity not included)
Is only open wed-fri.
Reservations are extremely hard to come by.

Ill go over my experience and won't judge the food individually as menus change and of course peoples pallets are different...

The 22 course menu starts off extremely strong. Dare I say, better than any Michelin Star restaurant that I've been to (92 stars and counting).

Unfortunately half way through the experience it's starts dulling out as the Nigiri wasn't as extraordinary as the opening dishes. This may be because they are a bit heavy on the wasabi and often found the fish being overpowered by the root.

Other than that, the experience itself is amazing. Chef Yoshi and his staff are truly delightful. Other omakase experiences should take notes on the hospitality offered here.

This place is semi-new and I can't wait to try it again in the distant future as a few tweaks to their menu and no doubt will this be LA's top Omakase restaurant.

Simply the best omakase sushi in LA. Sure this is an arguable statement. However, it is my best experience. A lot of painstaking details & preparation went into preparing each ingredient before the final cutting in front of the guests. Small intimate setting allow for a private-dining-like experience. Chef was a meticulous artist. Each piece was an art form. No drama or gimmicks. Just the best sushi you could have on that day.

This is a must visit for all sushi enthusiasts. I have been to many top sushi spots but have never experienced this level of quality. The presentation is remarkable!

Amazing!!! Absolutely incredible!

The sushi chef here is one of the top sought-after sushi chefs in the country. Majority of fish is flown in from Tsukiji fish market. Tsukiji relocated to Toyosu but I think they still call it Tsukiji. It's where the freshest of fresh are brought in directly by fishermen.

There were three types of uni (sea urchin) in the bento box. So creamy and dreamy. The uni melted in my mouth. There was ikura with straight up gold flakes on it. Everything in this box was outstanding. The quality of the fish was definitely noticeable.

They take orders through Instagram. It's where Izakaya Fu-Ga used to be. This is bar none the best sushi that I've had.
