Never his food looks so GOOD and tasted so mediocre! ???? For $15.99 for All U Can Eat lunch, the tropical buffet has little to do with a tropics, and a lot to do with flavor, or the lack of thereof! Their Miso soup tastes like gray water with leeks thrown in! They're orange chicken isn't sweet enough, isn't spicy enough, it isn't even Orange ???? enough! The beef and their beef broccoli is chewy, and the dish itself is tepid not hot. There's spring rolls can best be described as "okay" and their seafood medley is probably the one thing I enjoyed though the calamari within it was a bit rubber bandish. They had pizza ???? on the buffet, for the kids, which tasted like it was right out of the Red Baron box! And for dessert they had all manner of fruit, none which was anywhere NEAR ripe & certainly NOT sweet by any stretch! FINALLY, they had little squares of chocolate cake, I took a bite... It wasn't moist, it wasn't sweet, and it wasn't that chocolatey!!! HOW in the world ???? do you screw up Chocolate Cake??? Even in the tropics, they should know how to make that! ???? In the end, not nearly worth the freight, and you'll be better advised to go to Panda ???? Express twice! ????????????

Very bad restaurant, bad service. The ladies are very aggressive when you ask for a refill and I found food stains on my plate and fork. We pay way to much to go there and find no food. Would not recommend this place!

Erica greeted us as we entered into the restaurant with a beautiful smile. She was very helpful and answered all of our questions. There is such a wide variety of food, you just have to come by and take a look! Ricardo will do great on the grill for you with your personal selections that they have available! And Richard, are server, was a gracious host and helped me with all my questions as I have a visual disability that required me to ask him for a lot of guidance. He gladly did so. Thank you all so much. If you've never been to this restaurant, come by and take a look. You will be sure to leave smiling. ????????????????

The variety in food isn’t as much as your Asian standard buffet. The food tastes very “Americanized” (i.e. the coconut shrimp tastes like fried shrimp in mayo). Their sushi is lacking in variety, small in size, and tastes salty. The only good thing about this place is the Mongolian BBQ. Everything else is underwhelming.

The food is just ok. Service is really bad. The waitress hardly ever comes to your table. Your table will be full of dishes and nothing will be removed until you ask them too. You have to constantly look for the Waitress. Seems like she hides somewhere in the back. Terrible customer service. It takes for ever to get your drinks and good luck getting refills. I feel it's over priced for the quality, service and the restaurant is out dated. We went on a Saturday for dinner, which it shows in pictures on there window that they have crab legs. We never saw any crab legs at all through out the time we were there. FALSE ADVERTISING. I don't recommend going to this restaurant. There are alot more better options out there.

I just had lunch here 2 hours ago, May 10, 2022. It was much better than when I went 2 months ago. More fresh choices, more sushi, more hot entrees. For the price and selection, it rivals similar Asian buffets in the San Gabriel valley. No kidding. I enjoyed the shrimp and steamed fish. They had clams and crawfish, but I had other food in mind. The lady who was at the front was courteous, unlike the tall guy from before. Today's service was very good. Will definitely come back soon.

This place had gone downhill since we initially visited. You could definitely tell that the food quality has been reduced - like how their sauces and soups got watered down. Other food items got replaced by cheaper variant and some aren’t even available.

When we visited, the ice cream machine was not available for use which is a bummer. In terms of cleanliness, the floors seems to be decently swept and mopped, however it’s undeniable that tables are oily and the chairs on the lounge seating is sticky.

Hope Tropical Buffet & Grill gets back to the way it was. We used to like this place before.
