There is an old lady out front taking the orders and everytime I’ve came she is so condescending and rude. But I’ve kept coming because I’ve liked the pizza but today was the last time because I tried to pay with change that I had dollar bills and quarter and I didn’t have anything else, so I could pay the rest with my card and she refused it saying, “we don’t make any money off of that” “why would I take this” and refused me paying. When I’ve visited before she talked to white customers so sweetly but to a Latina she was disrespectful , so if you are a person of color would not recommend you going here, they will look down on your money.

Truly outstanding pizza!!! I am a lover of pizza and being born and raised in NY, it’s always been challenge to find one this good! Pasta dishes are great, too!!

While living near Larchmont, I had the privilege of stumbling upon this pizza place. It really is the best. Sometimes the servers were a bit standoffish and quiet. Nevertheless they were always respectful and always gave good service and never made you feel unwelcome.

Huell howser brought me here I knew about this for years never had a pizza but now I moved from my hometown orange county ca to Orlando Orange County Florida I wish there was a village pizzeria here no good pizza out here haven't found anything! Steve rules hope he's still alive making pizza. And I hope one day I can eat a pizza from Steve

VERY Disappointed. I do not like to write bad reviews but this one I feel is imperative. To begin with the young lady at the register was not helpful at all. It seemed like I was bothering her placing an order to-go. She very rudely told me to stay near by since they will call my name once when my order was ready. She told me 15-20 min wait so I approached her after waiting 35 minutes. Another employee overheard and offered to check on my order… 2 slices of pizza. He stated the pizza was in the oven and should be out in 5 min. I think meant to say the pizza is thawing and will be at room temperature in 5 min. The two slices looked and tasted like a pizza(with minimal sauce, worst kind) that was sitting on the counter for 10 minutes. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. Don’t lie to customers. I would’ve been fine if they apologized and told me they forgot my order, stuff happens. I have worked in the food industry for many years so I know things happen.
Please find another pizza place. This was the second time I had a bad experience. And I have seen 5 other customers have the same or worse experience. I would have given negative stars if I could.
P.S
The waiters I saw were very hard working and being very attentive to the dine-in customers.

Went with a couple of friends for a “linner”. No wait. We got some drinks, 2 18” Neapolitan thin crust pizzas:
Village Special with anchovies
1/2 Pesto + 1/2 Clam and Garlic
All the pizzas were super flavorful, the Village Special with anchovies was my favorite. The portion sizes are generous, so the leftovers were a welcome surprise. The only negative thing I can think of… I was expecting a crispier bottom pizza considering it was thin crust. Both of our pizzas were soggy on the bottom.

Best pizza I had in LA hands down! Plain cheese, with mushrooms and pepperoni, I have tried a bunch and they all tasted amazing.
Moved here from NY so I know my pizza, ha!
Garlic rolls and vegan pasta also yummy! The blonde girl in the front was very kind, fast service. Loved the outdoors area!

They close at 8:30, not 9 like it says. Clearly they can’t be bothered to update it. They won’t seat you after 8, and they basically get an attitude with you for the heinous crime of coming when Google says they’re open and wanting to sit on a chair to eat a few slices of their pizza.
Great customer service! Not.

Superb pizza and a particular New York -style ambience. Very friendly staff. Larchmont village is just an incredible which makes the trip over there even more rewarding. If you’re not feeling too guilty, then hop in next door for some of the best ice cream. The only downside is that the space is somewhat small.
