Small and awesome business! Swordfish, Grouper, and Halibut plates. 2 appetizers and 3 drinks. $110. Not bad in today's economy. Service is first come, seated as you order and it works out great in this small place. Staff is friendly and efficient. Quality is top!
Usually, we just pick up fresh fish to grill at home when we swing by blue water. This is the first time we haven’t had to wait forever in line. So happy they got to keep their cute street dining area which was well built and shaded to provide the much needed extra tables to keep the lines short. Decided to dine in for some fish tacos and forgot how much I enjoyed them. Their track taco which won Tacotopia in 2016 is definitely worth it. I’ll have to see next time if we can sun the shrimp in it for the other fish because it was so much better than the regular tacos that’s it’s almost unfair.

Whoa!! I was told to come visit here for great seafood and nothing disappointed. The line was about 40 minutes long but it was worth it. Take a good look at the menu to find out what you'd like since it's ordered in a specific way. From the chowder to the swordfish to the crab to the tuna, it was all incredible! We spent quite a bit but I'm glad to report that it was all well worth the money. Definitely stop in for some food here!

The Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill is a nice restaurant with the freshest seafood that we have had. The variety of seafood is amazing, all freshly prepared with good portion size. The service was very friendly and fast!

Everything was great! I cannot lie. The Octopus was a little over cooked. Everything else was awesome. Service was great! Food was great! Rotating local beer is a great idea. Support local!

It will be better if there's no such long waiting line even when we come there in the afternoon. I was here for track taco but it turned out I was impressed by scallop beer battered taco and chowder. The scallop was fried and very juicy. $8.5 for one taco is expensive but definitely worth trying out!

The main reasons for the customer satisfaction of this place are friendly staff and fresh seafood. We stayed in line for about 20 minutes before ordering our sandwiches, but it was worth it. I think they have to add another cashier to speed things up. The Halibut sandwich was fresh and delicious, even for the ones who don't like seafood. The criss cut fries were good, too.

We showed up for a late lunch around 4pm.
If you show up late make sure you check the “Unavailable list” at the front register.
There were all sorts of popular items that were sold out but it was still OK they have a ton of options.
There are menus up front for you to read while you wait.
Dine-In seating is assigned so don’t try to hold a table for your party.
If the line is at the door you’ll probably want to wait outside or risk getting asked politely to wait outside without holding the door open.
Bathrooms were clean.
Beer was cold.
Coleslaw was bomb.
Chowder (New England) was good, tasted better with Tabasco. You can get your own oyster-shaped crackers at the front register.
Ceviche was a miss for me, but not terrible just not my preferred flavor profile - I think it needed a lot more lime and some salt.
Overall great place to visit.

Good, fresh seafood. The wait was longest to order than actually getting the food. We had the calamari, ahi tuna plate and swordfish sandwich. I also ordered a cup of clam chowder (not pictured) which was good. Overall good, the service so so. Both our fish entrees were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth.

Ate here yesterday while visiting San Diego. Amazing fresh seafood choices available. The wait staff was very courteous and polite; there was a little time spent waiting for table space. It was well worth it! This is a must visit location!! I tried to seek out Guy Fieri's joints while I visited. Started with garlic bread, then I had the awarding winning Track Taco and the Halibut Sandwich which was featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins And Dives. Everything was on point and amazing. Taco did not fail. So happy I made it here!????
