So happy to have found this place! I knew it was near an airport based on other reviews but did not realize it was literally above the terminal! Watched other people going up the stairs to the restaurant before figuring out where to go. Very hard to tell where it is from the road, but you will be glad once you get inside. Really good food, reminds me of our favorite place back on Florida(we recently moved here). Kind staff, good prices, and my six year old(really, the whole family) loved watching the planes take off and land. We have found a new favorite!

It was nice restaurant and the server were very friendly and helpful. If you are lucky to sit close to the window, you can see planes take off or landed. It's a very good experience and fun and romantic.

This place is a gem. I just love these hot plate family style Mexican places. The margaritas are great and the portions are huge. I had multiple margaritas Ands wet got two three item combos. We also had the soup. The meatball and tortilla. The tortilla was some of the best I’ve had. Can’t wait to go back

A must see when staying in Miami or Miami Beach. His wife does the cooking and it's completely amazing. Be sure to take some hot sauce home, it's perfect for Caribbean food.

Great mexican food with a view of the airport. Been here quite a few times. Food is always good and the staff is friendly with good service. I've recommended this place to many of my friends. There is a bar area, regular dining area and also a separate area for meetings, parties etc.

Probably my favorite local Mexican restaurant. The food isn't amazing but it isn't bad. What is great is the staff, the location (watch airplanes take off as you eat), the environment and the overall experience.

Service was good. Ceviche was good and has a strong lemon flavor. They welcome you with totopos, which is nice. I ordered fish tacos, partner order chicken with mustard, both dishes were well served. Kids enjoyed their coloring book with Jalapeño Pete.

Nice ambiance and nice Mexican restaurant. We loved the food and margaritas. Next to the private airport, enjoyed private flights take off and landing. Good place.

Great mexican food and large portions. Super location to watch planes land and take-off. Margaritas are the best. Fast service and very attentive. One of my favorites while on vacation in San Diego. It will not disappoint.

First time at Casa Machado. Came on Sunday lunch time. Cool environment and ambiance. Best seat may be inside at window. We ate on patio and wss fun watching helicopters and small planes fo their thimg. We had two flights of margaritas. All very good to excellent. Chip salsa liquid but u cane ask for varity. Very impressed with staff. Friendly and quick. Food rated in each pic. Will return
