Lovely place for authentic Mexican food, I recommend the fish tacos. Very friendly staff. It's not near the pier, so it's calmer, more economical. Muy amable.
The employee returned my wallet I dropped accidentally. Really appreciate it! The food is awesome! Especially the nachos.

Wow, this is good! Had the chili relleno and beef enchilada combo! Really good, flavorful Mexican food. Savory, nice roasted chili and excellent sauce.

Excellent food and service! Food came out in less than 10 minutes, it tasted great, she remembered who ordered what and handed it out appropriately. My tacos were decent sized too, we got a ton of carne asada fries in our order. All in all, definitely worth the price

I’m a born and bred San Diegan so I know my Mexican food. La Perlita is the best of the best in town. My husband raves about his California burritos and my cheese enchiladas are bomb. You think cheese enchiladas are easy but it’s the perfect ratio of tortilla, sauce, cheese, etc. FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were incredibly delighted to find this place. Been on vacation and used to live in SD. So coming back here I needed some good Mexican food. Probably a 10/10. I had the chimichanga. Might have to take some back to the PNW when we leave
