The best shrimp burritos ever! I love the creamy cilantro salsa too! Very unusual decor inside and outside. This is our "must" stop right after the airport.

Great little place. Came here with kids and another family and there was a menu of choice for all in the party. Large selection of drinks beyond traditional choices. Surf and turn tacos were delicious, the lucha salad was good too it was big mix of crunchy items on a salad with beans. All the tacos and burritos had fries in it, while it was a good twist it also made especially the burritos a little dry to eat. It was all good though, it's a small place but it does have a little outdoor area. People came and went, fast service, overall it was a great experience and definitely will return soon.

It’s sad to see a once delicious establishment fall from grace. When they first opened, they used to have one of the best surf and turf burritos in San Diego. 5/5. No fillers. All tasty goodness. Now, it’s replaced with this abomination. Rice? It never EVER used to have rice. This is San Diego for crying out loud. The carne asada quality dipped. I couldn’t finish it. The only thing that’s the same quality is their creamy cilantro. There’s so many good Mexican food establishments in San Diego. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Always love this place but it’s not the same. They don’t put as much meat in their burritos as they used to. The meat to tortilla ratio is just off. They also got rid of the Tijuana hot dog. Seems like every item has a Cali version. Still, we always have a good time. The beer selection is top notch for a taco shop this size. The decor always makes me want to bring friends from out of town and everyone is always nice. The salsa bar is awesome. $72 with tip.

Lives up to the hype. Parking was a bit difficult but we found a spot across the street. Ordered the seafood taco with TJ Corn and Black Beans. Husband got the Birria Burrito with TJ Corn and Rice. The Horchata was one of the best we've had.

We had one day in San Diego and I read the place to go. This filled the Mexican food-shaped hole in my heart since moving to Washington. I ordered the blackened mahi seafood burrito (delicious with plenty of fish), and some friends shared a plate of a variety of tacos. They keep their salsa bar simple: a spicy red salsa, a salsa Verde (with a hint of cucumber), and a creamy, spicy salsa with cilantro that was to die for. My friend ordered the horchata which was a little on the sweet side (think Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk). Otherwise everything was exceptional!

This place has some of the best burritos and tacos you can eat in San Diego, their surf and turf is very good, however its $15 dollar price seems to be too high for a mid size burrito. Really good salsas and nice atmosphere. You get free bag of tortilla chips with your food. The staff is very friendly and quick service.

One of my favorite places for tacos in San Diego! My only complaint with this place is that often my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I always make the mistake of ordering three tacos when just two would do. I haven't met a taco that I haven't liked! If you are visiting San Diego and staying downtown, this is a very easy trolley ride away.

I've been wanting to come here forever. I love the theme, so fun for pictures! The salsa is so delicious here! I should have bought a container to go. I really enjoyed the surf and turf taco and also the undefeated. Definitely come check it out!

I've been told by a friend who works nearby that this place is now under new management. This could explain why the portions seem to be lacking for the price.

About $13-$14 for the mole burrito. Great mole, but I'll be hard pressed to come back here if the portions stay this way. Staff could also be nicer. My last few visits before this one were much better , portion-wise and customer service-wise.
